About Label LIVE

Label LIVE is an easy-to-use label printer app available for Mac and Windows. It is designed to help users save time and money when printing labels on a DYMO, Brother, ROLLO, Zebra, or other thermal label printers.

The app download is simple and users can create a label design in 30 seconds - just set up the label size, add some text and images, and click print.

For labels with barcodes, users can simply select a barcode type and enter the value.

To transfer individual label data from spreadsheets, users can import the file and add the fields to the design.

Support for Label LIVE is provided via email and video tutorials.

Easy To Use, Far Better Than Free Software That Came With Label Printer

I switched from the software that came with the printer. The "iDPRT Label Designer" software was not listed in the drop-down box of other products below, but, suffice it to say, it was not good software.

Pros:

Simple to use. Easy to go from starting the software to editing a label without unnecessary steps in between. I like the ability to duplicated saved labels which allows quickly modeling new label formats the same as previous labels.

Cons:

I honestly haven't run into any issues that have caused me any problems.

Reasons for switching to Label LIVE

Software that came with the printer was very basic and lacked many features. Editing labels was difficult because the software had troubles with snapping and justification.

Best solution for older Zebra printer and new Mac!

This is a great product, the only other software solutions for our printer are either confined to Windows machines or very, very expensive (and still not ideal for Mac)

It's the perfect solution for our company to keep using our older Zebra label printer with our new Mac computer- I was unable to find ANY other product that even came close!

Cons:

I've had a little trouble getting my fields to stay aligned to a grid- sometimes they seem to get crooked when I'm just trying to reposition them on the page.

"Works Exactly Like it Should"

Label LIVE has made it really easy for me to print just one label or a whole page. It's been fun to play with all the options as I get use to using Label Live

Pros:

When I need new software, it's usually because I've run up against a problem I need to solve. I'd been using DYMO software to print labels and was having issues with their software and drivers, so I went looking for something better. That's when I found Label LIVE. My biggest expection when looking for a label printer is something that is easy to use and I think I've found what I wanted. I did have a couple of questions and support was very quick to respond which I feel is as important as the software itself.

Cons:

Nothing, it has worked exactly as I've expected.

Dymo was just way to hard to work with, that's why I started looking in the first place.

Label LIVE is hands down one of the best tools I’ve ever used for my business. Unreal value for money! The setup is incredibly quick and straightforward. I was up and running within minutes. The interface is clean, intuitive, and very easy to use, making it perfect for anyone regardless of technical experience. The quality of the labels is outstanding, and the software gives me full confidence in my work every time. It’s versatile enough to suit any person or business, whether you’re printing a few labels at home or running a larger operation. If you’re looking for a simple, powerful, and effective labeling solution, Label LIVE is the one.

LabelLive is incredibly intuitive and user-friendly, even for someone without a technical background. I use it for a personal home inventory system, where I generate labels that include QR codes linked to a live-updating Google Sheet. The ability to customize my labels and print exactly what I need has been a game-changer. Most of all, I’m blown away by the level of personal support. [sensitive content hidden] is not only responsive but genuinely cares about his users — he went out of his way to make sure my setup worked exactly as I needed.

Cons:

Initially, I didn’t realize that QR code generation required a business license. I upgraded to the business tier to get access — but when [sensitive content hidden] found out I was using it for personal, non-commercial use, he refunded the business license fee and unlocked QR code functionality for my label printer anyway. That level of customer support is almost unheard of and turned a minor hiccup into a great experience.

Met and exceeded expectations - value and performance

I was searching for an easy to use and easy to implement labeling program for my receiving department. I downloaded the trial version and designed my first label in minutes. Trained the receiving staff and followed up with a purchase of the software. I would highly recommend this software.

Ease of use, ability to pull data from Excel, received quick support on a question even though I only had the trial download.

Cons:

Created a label on one computer (still in trial period), saved it on a shared network location but when I open it on the licensed computer the label no longer fit the defined label size.

Pros:

I like how easy it is to use and set up templates! Also, being able to have a "database" of sorts, is a great feature for the software.

Cons:

If I could change one thing about the software, it's that the user interface looks slightly outdated, and maybe even like it was created for Windows. I'm using it on a Mac.
