Reliable cloud management tool with a steep learning curve

Overall my experience with the AWS Management Console has been really positive. It’s a powerful and reliable platform that gives me complete control over my cloud environment, whether I’m launching EC2 instances, managing S3 storage, or configuring IAM roles. Once you get familiar with it, the workflow feels efficient and the integration between services is seamless. That said, there’s definitely a learning curve. the number of options and depth of settings can be intimidating at first. But after spending some time with it, it becomes an indispensable tool for managing and monitoring everything in AWS.

Pros:

I like how everything I need is in one place. I can easily manage EC2 instances, S3 buckets, and IAM roles without having to jump between different tools. The interface has improved a lot over time and feels more intuitive now, with quick access to recently used services and a solid search bar that actually works well. I also like the reliability. it’s fast, stable, and gives me clear visibility into my resources and costs. Overall, it just makes managing AWS services much smoother once you get used to where everything is.

Cons:

it can feel a bit overwhelming at times, especially with so many services and settings packed into one place. Some sections, like IAM permissions or networking configurations, are not very intuitive and require a lot of clicks to get simple things done. The layout isn’t always consistent across services, so it sometimes feels like you’re using a bunch of different tools stitched together. It would be great if the console were a bit more streamlined and userfriendly, especially for everyday management tasks.

AWS management console needs some user interface management to do

Overall, my experience has been positive, but as mentioned the cluttered user interface can be problematic when I need to find a specific service. Also the billing page is lost in the clutter and makes it difficult for bill management and payment even after having a great cost estimation tool for the services that I have used on AWS

I appreciate the amount of tools and services that are available in the console. It sums up all of the services in a well defined interface with the most important parts right in front of the user

Cons:

The amount of services that AWS provides in general is a lot, and in order for them to fit on a single platform, the management console might look too daunting and cluttered to new users. The UI could use a rework and allow ease of access to people who are new to the platform

Pros:

S3 Buckets: Store and retrieve data with proper object storage. EC2 Instances: Creates, launches, and manages the virtual servers. Lambda Functions: Runs code without managing servers.

Cons:

It's pay per use feature isn't that likeable as it seems. We may not know or may not be able to estimate budget while using and the risk is there of its going out of control. So, it should be used only by experts or under the guidance of an advisor.

Pros:

Ease of use to manage roles in AWS is fantastic and intuitive. Allow us to work from anywhere (where is defined by company). Also AWS provides a lot of interesting free courses that helps us to understand better the whole AWS Rich Environment with wider options of features.

Cons:

Actually, I think there is no complaint about AWS Management Control, it is fast, intuitive and reliable.
