About SegMetrics

SegMetrics is a web-based marketing analytics software designed to help marketers across a variety of industries gain insights into lifetime revenue from various traffic sources, customer spending over years or months and leads from within a single platform. Key features include campaign management, data visualization, performance metrics, website analytics and keyword tracking.

Marketing agencies using SegMetrics can track various ad sources, analyze campaigns, track sales and get visibility into cost-per-acquisition for old and new leads. The platform offers advanced lead score reporting by identifying marketing channels as well as best and worst-performing emails. Additionally, the customer LTV module enables managers to track ROI of any lead, import historical and current data and acquire new customers.

SegMetrics also provides lead tracking and attribution functionality, which allow users to automatically track new leads by country, state and city. It is available on monthly as well as annual subscriptions and support is extended via live chat and knowledge base.

    Segmetrics helps provide a much clearer picture on which ad platforms are actually making sales. It's allowed me to see which leads are the most profitable and have the highest LTV.

    Not much, it helped our ad tracking however it was expensive and convoluted.
    Cons:
    This is by far the worst experience that I've had with a service. It didn't end up working for us and for a ton of our clients, we continued to be charged after cancelling. One client was continuing to use it and after they cancelled, they were continuously charged for an add-on that wasn't removed. Once I discovered this, they refunded it and supposedly cancelled and then today it was charged AGAIN and I only found out by receiving the refund notice.

    Most Comprehensive Attribution Tool Available

    My experience has been excellent. I am able to solve my attribution reporting problems in a much better fashion than I could using Salesforce reporting.

    I like that I can tie every leads and opportunity out to a NAMED person. Even though they are tracking the anonymous events like everyone else, they can tell me with specificity who is included in the reports. This makes the tool ultimately more trustworthy. Unlike some other tools in the space, Segmetrics allows for reporting and tracking throughout the entire funnel.
    Cons:
    You can build what ever you want from a modeling and reporting perspective which allows for tremendous flexibility but it requires a real understanding of the data. They have made improvements in this area and I am told more is on the way. In the end it would just speed up seeing the value in the tool.

    Segmetrics had better down funnel reporting capabilities than others in the space. We have a long sales cycle and the other tools just fall short.

    Setup was a total breeze, but what I like most is that Segmetrics is very friendly and straightforward to use vs other solutions which have too many options and it's difficult to find the data you need.
    Cons:
    It would have been great to have a more in-depth onboarding and tutorial or course that I could go through and revisit to really get the most out of the tool.
