About EV

T-system’s EV is a cloud-based emergency department information solution (EDIS) that provides users with an emergency-department-specific platform that can integrate with enterprise electronic health record (EHR) systems. Key features include electronic prescribing, a real-time analytics dashboard and computerized provider order entry (CPOE).

EV features template-based documentation that allows physicians to document patient conditions directly using a desktop, laptop or tablet device. The solution is ONC-ATCB certified and includes lab integration and e-prescribing modules. Hospital-based emergency departments, free-standing emergency clinics and urgent care centers of all sizes can tailor the solutions to meet their specific requirements.

Additionally, EV’s EDIS connects to iTriage, which provides patients with accurate information regarding wait times, access to patient information forms and follow-up appointment scheduling. Support is offered via phone and email.

Functionality

Pros:

Patient assessments are easy and streamlined through the use of body diagrams. Charting is quick and easy.

Cons:

This program does not "talk" to any other EMRs. In order to give report, one must physically print the chart and send it with the patient. Additionally, you cannot see what was charted at other healthcare facilities.
