About Payzip

Payzip helps UK sports and hobby clubs manage member payments.Ideal for first-time or inexperienced club treasurers and secretaries - and those who are old hands will appreciate its simplicity to just get the job done.

It has a simple sidebar menu from where you view and create invoices, members, and Pings (member opt-in payments, like kit orders, tour deposits etc.). Users can also easily view recent payments across all invoices and Pings, as well as each week's consolidated payout - which makes reconciling your accounts extremely simple.

Payzip uses automatic payment reminders to get your club's money in on-time, and chases those who haven't paid for you. You can also work tactfully with your members by excluding some from receiving reminders, and making private admin notes which only you and other club admins can see.

With Payzip there's no subscription, no setup fee, and no charge for additional members, club admins, or groups. With one simple service fee on online payments only, it's the club management system with no nasty surprises.

PayZip - highly recommended!

Brilliant! The product is fantastic and the customer service is outstanding - often PayZip create new features I didn't know I needed. They've really helped to shape my business and I'm incredibly grateful for their support over the past 3-4 years.

Pros:

The software is an incredible user experience. As the leader of my own company it helps me easily manage, collect and organise membership payments from hundreds of our members. It's designed in a way that makes all my actions effortless and now matter how my business evolves, it always has the functionality I need. The immediate information I need on a daily basis is clearly displayed as an overview and if I need to explore further into the data, everything I need can be accessed. It makes payment super easy for our hundreds of members too - and allows me to focus on everything else I need to be working on.

Cons:

To be honest, there's nothing that stands out as being a feature I dislike. The team at PayZip are always improving their product and listening to customer feedback so any issues are dealt with quickly so I'm incredibly happy with the product.

Pros:

Very easy to use and easy to maneuver around the system. Click of a button and unpaid invoices can be seen, sends out automatic reminders, easy to see over due accounts, easy to change an invoice.

Cons:

Nothing. The system 8s do easy to use it makes life easier for me.

It is easy to manage members, their payments and any outstanding subscriptions. We love the fact you can automate a lot of payments and that payments can be made via a phone using google pay and apple pay The team take on board what people say and look at developing the software to meet the needs of users

Cons:

It is slightly more expensive then competitors and still in development so not all features are available just yet

South Wales Football Association User review of Payzip

We are getting our invoices out to clubs far more quickly each week than we used to. I have already mentioned our savings. We could not go back to our former ways and hope to manage our particular jobs so effectively.

Pros:

All features have improved our processes considerably. As mentioned earlier, once the data is on the invoice Payzip takes over the rest in a seamless manner. Savings in both man hours and postage costs have been substantial. It is easy to use, simple to read and can be custom amended to one's needs. The very occasional times I need to consult the experts have been dealt with promptly and any software updates made quickly.

Cons:

There is nothing I can describe as a negative about Payzip.

It's so easy to use - it does everything for you!

For me, the best bit about Payzip was the on-boarding process. I made an error in the upload info and reached out to the Payzip team - they were on it immediately and supported rectified my error. I really feel like I am in safe hands. The system is super easy to use and it saves me an incredible amount of time in invoicing and chasing payments. Also the payments to the club are automatic and weekly (from Payzip) so I don't need to worry about when we will get paid.

I like the user interface. It's user friendly and straightforward - and I use it for circa 240 members on a termly basis. I like that it sends reminders, you can add people (new members) to existing invoices (eg for a term), you can edit an existing invoice if you need to, or initiate reminders. It has saved me a huge amount of time in generating invoices and chasing payments.

Cons:

There wasn't really anything I didn't like - and if there was, I know that I could write to the person I deal with at Payzip and they would take a look at whether it was viable.

Payzip Review

Payzip has transformed the way we collect money for the club and feel we are in a much better position in understanding who has paid and who hasn’t, particularly at the beginning of the season, where historically there were a lot of cheques and cash, we have stopped this and all are now paid by card.

Ease of setting it up, the import facility to save time adding members, and the dashboard so we know where we are with everything at a glance

Cons:

I guess there’s always room for improvement, iOS access for admin would be a big benefit

This has made my job as treasurer much easier-everything is in one easy to use place, reducing my work load and ensuring that everyone is paying, meaning we have more money in the bank.

Cons:

It would be useful to be able to use the Welsh language within it.

Payzip is a very straightforward and easy system to use. Information is shown clearly and it is a fantastic way to collect payments !! The setting up of payzip was really good ,as the payzip team are really helpful and supportive . Nothing is too much trouble !!

There are no comments to add here , because if there was something we didn't like , Payzip would fix it !!

New to Payzip

As club treasurer this has enabled myself to collect member payments promptly and works well with my existing processes, as I am able to download key information for CSV into our Excel cashbook. Our club members have also given positive feedback on how easy it is to use and make payment.

only one thing missing and is that invoices cannot be paid via bacs

Thanks for your comments, Nicola. For clarity, whilst there isn't live bank account integration in Payzip, you can record a Bacs payment manually against an invoice, which will then trigger a payment receipt email to the payer. Do keep the suggestions coming!
