About RunSignup

RunSignUp is a fundraising solution that helps businesses organize race events, process payments, handle donations, create marketing campaigns and more from within a unified platform. It allows staff members to create custom race websites, send out white-labeled marketing emails, set up referral reward programs and track ad conversion rates.

RunSignUp's registration module enables businesses to set up daily or weekly payment schedules for multiple races and accept multiple transaction types, including credit card, direct deposit, or check. It lets race organizers create participant teams based on custom categories, such as gender, age, and size. Additionally, team members can configure donation levels, track donation goals, set up matching gift programs, display milestone badges and accept pledges, among other operations.

RunSignUp allows businesses to monitor ad value across external platforms, such as Google AdWords, AdRoll, and Facebook Ads. Pricing is based on fee per participant and support is extended via documentation, video tutorials, FAQs, email, and other measures.

A brilliant option for any kind of race management

It was our first time ever hosting a fundraising race, and RunSignUp was the perfect software to use. Their entire virtual race side of the platform was extremely helpful and allowed us to manage our campaign and race with ease and little-to-no stress. It's a hefty platform with tons of features, so be prepared to take some time to set up a campaign on the backend.

Pros:

There are so many things to like. It's packed with features, including easy Peer-to-Peer and Group fundraising tools, photo uploading and management, virtual race results management, and much, much more.

Cons:

Design-wise, it would be great if the platform allowed more customization to the flow of registration and the look of the campaign webpage.

A great place to start

We like runsignup, but ultimately we ended up switching to a more modern platform that was easier for us and users to navigate. The mileage integration also came free.

Pros:

RunSignup has a ton of features and is relatively easy to set up. Love that they integrate witflh facebook - makes the fundraising side of races sooo much easier for users.

Cons:

Once things are set up i tend to struggle navigating. There are so many options it seems a bit overwhelming. Wish the design aspects were a little easier to adjust, the visual aspect externally facing feels clunky and outdated.

More modern layout, and included mileage tracking. Offers a lot of how tos and we have a direct person assigned to out account.

About this platform Runsingup is now for me a organization with bad costumer service. Im race director when used that platform the costumer analist with name[ Sensitive Content ]with his boss [ Sensitive Content ]. Make a lot excuses and tricks for make delays payments to us from our runners. Also make bad and discriminatory practices against organizations without reasons. My organization make a lot races per year, from 2012 and never received a bad treatment during my profesional period of race director. Always, another platforms conforming very professional people and with polite actions to the costumers. But this guys is very unhappy rude people with bad administrative practices. For me if possible put less Zero i will.

Cons:

The platform is ok. But the people at the costumer services is bad with very poor performance.

High Quality Software with All of the Needed Framework to Run a Successful Event

RunSignUp has allowed us to create an expansive website for our organization's primary/largest annual fundraising run/walk event. With zero training in website development, I feel like I was able to create a visually appealing and easy-to-navigate website.

The reporting and management features for participants and volunteers are easy-to-use, and also help us capture and organize this important data for the event, and also to import into our donor software. The highly-customizable registration process lets us easily add apparel, gear, parking passes, and a donation option to help raise more funds.If you don't have any website developing background, it's no problem, because the software makes adding website pages and content a simple process. I have relied heavily on customer service for questions regarding set up (via email) for the past 6 years and the responses from representatives are always prompt, easy-to-follow (screenshots, video links, etc.), and resolve any issues I have.

Cons:

The email marketing feature is a must for promoting and communicating important information for our event, but it would be appreciated if this feature had more customizable options (i.e., incorporating our brand colors and fonts, etc.).

Reasons for choosing RunSignup

I'm a runner (13+ years) and I'm very familiar with seeing RunSignUp frequently used for races I register for. I've always been impressed with the slick registration processes and, truly, consider RunSignUp the "name brand" for registering for run/walk events.
