Sustainable emailing with exceptional customer support

Very positive experience. I came to this platform looking for a way to manage newsletter subscriptions and was also drawn by the sustainability commitment of the company. I'm now able to see how I can do so much more with my emails and staying connected with my clients. I think this is a platform that can support my company's growth.

Pros:

It is easy to navigate and the tools are straightforward. I appreciate the demo videos and tutorials. It has a lot of flexibility in terms of being able to add custom properties to contacts and also to add custom status indicators. The customer service is exceptional and excellent.

Cons:

It lacks a few features that other email list services have, such as hosted newsletter content. The platform has a few legacy features from GoSquared that don't apply to EcoSend which clutter the interface a bit. I'm told these are both areas that will be developed further soon.

Despite going through the DKIM and SPF setup for domain verification, my first campaign still went in most of my recipients' junk folders.

EcoSend is an eco-friendly & sustainable system, easy to use and the customer support is amazing - these factors are important for me as an SME.

Cons:

No cons say so far, I am satisfied with the service, I get what is communicated.

Because I did not like the platform and I received good campiagns from others who use Ecosend.

Brilliant, intuitive and good for the planet. Plus good value too!

Good! From the friendly personable onboarding, to the simplicity of the tool, and obviously knowing that my emails are having a lessened environmental impact.

Pros:

Ease of use, connectivity with other apps, and obviously its a software tool doing good! I was a little worried I couldn't make clean crisp emails with it, but its quite the opposite. The emails, using the builder look fantastic. I also love the simple uncluttered dashboard and options. Yet it also allows for complex segmentation if required.

Cons:

I did need to do a workaround for one integration using zapier and a 2 step jump through another email software in order to link up my site. However that's because I have a web builder that's currently (note currently) not integrated with ecosend.

It was bery easy tk set up and i value the level of specificity and authenticity they put into verifying our account and privacy policies

Cons:

Some issues arose and werent clear what steps of verifications would fix them

Mailchimp increased pricing and reduced features. Ecosend not only have better value but aligned with our environmental beliefs.

The interface is clean and easy to use, and their customer support has been friendly and responsive. Cons:

I've only been using this platform for a short time, so I'm still getting familiar with it, but it seems fairly intuitive.

Their rates became too high. A web designer friend referred me to EcoSend because of their environmentally conscious practices.

EDM that is truly great and treats you like a human

Pros:

After several trials with other companies we trialled Ecosend after hearing one of their podcasts. It was so simple from the word go and you actually got to engage with a 'human' in the age where everyone expects to take your money and do nothing. EcoSend was the opposite. Its training is excellent and we were up and running in no time. I wish I knew about EcoSend earlier.

Cons:

The only con is that I hadn't heard about it earlier! Perhaps a little more advertising would be a way to go. Swap the chimps for the trees - haha

Pros:

First and foremost, I like that Ecosend gives a signal to my customers that we are not a cookie cutter company, that we are part of the world and want it to be a better place. Second, as an entrepreneur starting a new company and new to this email campaign tool, I can't emphasize enough how excellent the customer service is. I got a couple demos, always instant responses, and helpful tools throughout the tool. Finally, the analytics are super easy to understand and easy to see whether I am looking at an individual broadcast, overall campaign, or company-wide. The interface is intuitive, clean, and frictionless.

Cons:

Because the team is in the UK, sometimes responses come very early in the morning for me, but that is the nature of time differences.

Reasons for choosing EcoSend

Hands down because of their mission. I don't want to contribute to a vendor's profits at the expense of the planet, and I love that my customers can see that we care about our environmental impact with every email we send - the main mechanism of communication.

Easy to use, environmentally minded

Really encouraging, simple easy to use platform built on some great tech. They're challenging themselves to be as low carbon as possible. The customer experience has been great, from the onboarding calls to customer support with a technical issue the response and level of care has been fantastic.

I’ve been a bug fan of GoSquared as an analytics/messaging platform, so when I heard they’d made a climate conscious version which plants trees every time you hit send to your audience I had to try it. As ever the support is first rate, installation on your site is simple and you get a warm feeling watching the tree count go up.

Cons:

I’d prefer the subscriber box to be more customisable, and would appreciate a better email editor more inline with Beehiiv, but I can survive without.

It feels good to use sustainable e-mail marketing!

I'm very happy with EcoSend because they are very helpful and the support is very friendly. So if I run into problems they can help. And what was also very nice is a free online call where I can ask all my questions. The program works good and easy. Now that I have tried some things I understand how it works. And as a sustainable interior designer I'm very happy that also my e-mail marketing is as sustainable as possible right now.

That it is sustainable and that the support is very helpful because for me it's the first time I use e-mail marketing.

Cons:

For me it is difficult because I need to figure out everything because it's the first program I use for this business. So it was not as easy for example to make a template with a footer and copy that and use it over again.
