Straightforward project planning tool

Pros:

It's easy-to-use. a great UI and allows me to flexibly plan my projects in a way that both internal and external stakeholders can understand at a glance. I like how dates can be blocked out (e.g. to accommodate holidays) and the wide choice of status indicators and icons. Haven't ever experienced a bug either!

Cons:

Honestly nothing! It allows me to do what I need to without factoring in additional time to work with a convoluted scheduling system.

Clear and fast overview. Easy that it can be used by multiple people of the team. Also setting priorities is easily done.

Cons:

That we can not log data. Too bad we cannot make changes at a simultaneous moment.

Pros:

What I really enjoy about Tom's Planner is that it's one of the easiest gantt chart software out there. It's not hard to learn how to use this software. Aside from that it's easy to drag the timeline and making changes/edits.

Cons:

What I like least about this software is how it's not customizable in terms of colors and designs. I also feel the design of the software is a little outdated. I still like the software since I enjoy UX more than UI.

Excellent for calendar organisation across multiple facets

It is the second tab opened in my browser after Google Calendar and forms a critical part of our sales and operations.

It has fundamentally changed how we manage our calendars and obligations. I had been searching for a solution for ages and was recommended Tom's Planner by a friend about a year ago. I haven't looked back.

Cons:

That I am yet to pay a subscription despite knowing that I'll get the most out of it by doing so!

I've been using TomsPlanner.com for a while now, but the AI Assist feature has taken my project planning to a whole new level. As someone who juggles multiple projects, I often spend hours organizing tasks, setting dependencies, and adjusting timelines. The AI Assist has drastically cut down that time from getting a new project off the ground. Instead of manually inputting tasks and tweaking schedules, the AI suggests optimized timelines, detects potential bottlenecks, and even recommends adjustments when conflicts arise. It’s like having a personal project manager that thinks ahead for you. I particularly love how it adapts dynamically to changes, making it super easy to shift deadlines without causing a scheduling nightmare.

Cons:

No real cons to add. The product and support are great.

Great planner. Needs more ability for integrations and automation.

It's the best gantt planner on the web. My pain points are the lack of automations and integrations and not being able to easily merge and split schedules.

The ability to have split time slots on the planner. The ability to hide the weekends and other days.

Cons:

Unable to merge schedules easily No defined resources No ability to have automatic colouring No API. Would be nice to automatically generate or update schedules without messing with complex JSON.

Its simple and easy to use. It would be great if you could adjust the view as our site teams complain that they can't read it on site.

Cons:

Its hard to update when a schedule needs to be changed as you have to do it all manually.

TP is easy to use and has clear & friendly looks. Setting up a chart for projects is done in no time and always easy to adjust. Sharing my planning with others as an online link or simply a pdf is gold.

Cons:

Not much to dislike to be honest ... No complaints.
