About Ascora
Ascora is job management solution designed for trades businesses to manage workflows from lead capture to payment processing. It supports industries such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, landscaping, locksmith, security and construction. The platform is suitable for handling both small tasks and larger projects.
It includes tools for lead management, allowing opportunities to be captured from websites, phone calls and social media. Users can create quotes using item libraries and price books, schedule jobs with a drag-and-drop interface and monitor job progress through assigned teams and checklists. Features include inventory management across multiple locations, timesheet tracking with geo-fencing, invoicing with payment options and business performance reporting. Additional features include project phase management, SMS communication, digital forms, equipment maintenance tracking and a customer portal for requesting quotes, booking jobs and viewing job status.

ASCORA a business Game Changer

Ascora has completely changed the way we run our business. Before, we were juggling multiple third-party software just to manage jobs, quoting, invoicing, and follow-ups, and it was a nightmare. Since switching to Ascora, everything is streamlined, and what used to take hours or even days is now done in a few clicks, even from a phone. The Ground Plan integration has been a game changer for quoting and job management, and the level of customisation means it actually works for our industry, not just a generic system that doesn’t fit. The support from the Ascora team has been great, and they’re always improving the system based on real feedback. Honestly, I just wish we found it sooner.

Ascora is a game changer for small commercial hvac companies

I've had Ascora for about a week now. I was struggling for the longest time, especially as a owner/operator with no employees, to find a field service software that was affordable, but also provided the features I needed to go above and beyond for my HVAC commercial customers. The other software around their price range doesn't have equipment tracking, or the ability to make custom forms. Despite some cons, I'm extremely happy with Ascora, I haven't interacted with customer support, but I've been able to figure almost everything out so far which goes to show the user friendliness. A bit of a learning curve (took my an hour or so to be comfortable moving around) but once you understand the thought process behind it's pretty smooth.

The provided all the features that more expensive software provided. I'm talking on par with companies charging 500/month/license. Pricing that a small business owner can't afford. This allows me to provide exceptional service and preventative maintenance records to my customers.

You have said the Quote is very good which does map directly to Jobs and Invoicing which would account for the majority of the core workflows, so I am perplexed as to the rating in your review. I've checked and the details provided aren't enough to identify you or your company so I'm unable to really tell what experience you had with Ascora and if you went through any form of training to be able to get the most from the platform. We do have more features than Simpro and ServiceM8 which makes training essential to maximise the value from the Ascora platform and minimise headaches. From your review you have used Ascora less than 6 months which may not be long enough to really see value depending upon the time you could dedicate to rolling out a job management system. SimPros mobile App was far in-superior and less intuitively easy for the field staff to navigate and record information. the Xero integration had less flexibility and the web portal in simpro was draining for me to use and navigate due to its design and layout. In SimPro you need a laptop in order to run your business from anywhere where in ascora i am able to do it form my phone or tablet.

Service m8 has poor profit and loss reporting and a poor progress payment system. doesn't integrate as smoothly with Xero and restricted to Apple products only. The money i am saving in ipads and work phones alone covered the first 2 years of Ascora subscription.

Was a bit involved in onboarding. Definitely requires the time and thought process to setup to your company. You cant pay someone to do this for you as you have the information and understanding in your head for what you need. It was a little overwhelming in the initial week however as we became familiar with the software it became easy. Having the support of the team at ascora and the online how to videos made it relatively easy stepping stones to get to where we needed to be.
