About PLANTA Project

PLANTA Project is a project management software which supports companies in the initiation, planning, and controlling of their projects, proposals, and project ideas. In an integrated system with uniform surface, project managers can plan tasks, dates, and budgets and assign resources. Bottlenecks and free capacities are clearly displayed, so that persons (also by skills), machines, rooms, etc., can be planned optimally for all company projects.

Milestones can be monitored with prognoses and planned-actual-comparisons, just like the entire project progress. Multi-project features also enable the controlling of projects in programs. The integrated risk management allows for an early identification of risks and opportunities which in turn helps to make a decision in the project portfolio.

The central dashboard provides reliable information on the current status in the project. Hours worked and absence can be recorded by all project team members in their individual view and are immediately incorporated in the further planning. This provides clarity on the project status in terms of dates, resources, and costs for all projects in the company.

Great Projectmanagement-Software with good Ressource Management

Pros:

We really like PLANT, because it is very easy to learn how to manage a project in it. And for us it is the best tool for ressourcemanagement.

Cons:

Beside of the standard Reports, some reports are not easy to build by your own.

PLANTA eine individuell anpassbare Software mit hohem Funktionsumfang

Ein Tool, welches den agilen Bereich und den konventionellen Bereich sehr gut abdeckt. Das Tool kann gut auf die Prozesse der Firma angepasst werden.

Pros:

Die Applikation ist leicht anpassbar. Mit dem Customizing Wissen kann man eigene Funktionen bauen.

Cons:

Der Webclient steckt noch in den Kinderschuhen. Aber gemäss PLANTA wird kräftig daran gearbeitet. Der normale Full-Client bietet jedoch alle wünschbaren Möglichkeiten.

PLANTA gives all the functionality that you need for multi project management and detailled ressource planning

Cons:

The performance of the tool is poor, to long waiting times and to many bugs

Umfangreicher Funktionsumfang ist vorhanden die Software biete einiges an Möglichkeiten.

Cons:

Erreichbarkeit von Planta und Mitarbeitern. Termine und Zusagen werden teilweise nicht eingehalten, Kommunikation erschwert. Auch die Benutzerfreundlichkeit empfinde ich als sehr kompliziert.
