A great tool for team alignment

As someone that does not come from a development background, the addition of a daily standup to my routine has been an eye-opening way to create personal and company-wide accountability when it comes to accomplishing goals. Pros:

StandupPro is very intuitive to use, whether facilitating a standup meeting or participating in one. Recording your goal and marking its status only takes a few seconds. Seeing the daily goals of my team members next to mine allows easy insight into what everyone else is working on and how tasks align with the company objectives.

Cons:

I'm looking forward to more features for reporting and collaboration. It would be great if the dashboard could also track individual goals against company objectives.

As a remote workforce that spans the globe it is important that our team is able to effectively communicate key tasks, goals, impediments and track against those. StandupPro allows us to be hyper focused on the most critical tasks and ensure that all are informed about the key objectives and results. We have been long time believers in the need for a daily standup to effectively communicate and StandupPro takes us to the next level in effectiveness of our meetings.

Cons:

I do not really have any negatives to list about this software.

Reasons for choosing StandupPro

Even though we have these existing products, it was not ideal for what we wanted to accomplish. It felt more like those tools were just task tracking, while StandupPro makes these meetings much more strategic and aligned.

Pros:

Product is easy to use and makes it simple for our team to input and review daily goals in under 15 minutes each day. It's lack of features is a pro as some of the other similar softwares try to do too much.

Cons:

Now that we've used the product for awhile it would be good to see some metrics on our hit/miss rates.

Simple, intuitive and core to our business. StandupPro helps us run our daily standup meetings with ease and precision. Helps keep the team aligned, accountable and supportive. Takes less than 15 seconds to input our individual goals and then efficiently runs through each team member during the meeting allowing us to quickly communicate and get back to work.

Cons:

A bit more customizability would be great but simplicity makes up for it.

Software is simplistic, user friendly that does not require hours of training. Helps individuals/ team to narrow daily tasks/objectives. The platform provides a centralized location where team members can reference daily/weekly objectives. It encourages dialogue among group members to provide valuable feedback that promotes productivity. Allows user to self evaluate his/her own work. Monitor progress of individual/ team objectives toward overall company goals

Cons:

Pros:

This software, and perhaps just as crucially, the idea behind it is a great tool for managing teams, which is even more important in today's age of remote work. The idea of boiling down to do lists to one crucial item per person is invaluable and setting up quick 15 min check-ins versus long meetings with a lot of unnecessary information is a great concept. The software provides the perfect tools to help you implement this system and achieve the productivity benefits.

Cons:

The trickiest part was probably getting team members to understand and get on board with the philosophy because it requires breaking the habit of listing to dos and instead cutting to the core of what will move the needle. This can be remedied though with training and communication which StandUp Pro helps with.

Having a daily routine at work and keep up with stand up goals is super important to us. Standup Pro makes this process simple. It’s the first thing we do everyday and really keeps us on track and helps to let you know what the rest of the team is working on.

I appreciate that this software, unlike most others, asks you to track the most important goal of your day, each day. The way I view it is that if there's one thing I need to complete in the day at least, it should be what is in that box. If I don't complete at least that, then it likely means there were too many distractions on that day. It allows you focus on the important things.

Cons:

There isn't much to dislike. The features currently in the software (as a user) are very minimal: tracking the most important goal of each day.

StandupPro is very easy to get started with and make part of your daily routine. It's usually the most valuable 15 minute of my day. Support has been really responsive to feature recommendations and feedback as well.

Cons:

Very focused feature set. I'm sure next steps like customization, branding, and more complex multi-team configurations will be coming soon.
