About Clockodo

clocko:do is a cloud-based time recording software for projects. The software allows users to track their hours spent working, manage and assign budgets and create extensive time evaluations. It can also track time-off for planned absences, sick leave or vacations. The data can then be exported to the user's third party payroll and invoicing solutions.

The software offers features such as a digital time clock, individual reports, employee timekeeping, project time tracking, time sheets, time recording and more.

Brilliant Idea but clunky interface.

It took me quite a while to understand how to set up clients and projects. And even more time to set up budget based projects which is often the case for my work. Also It would be great to put in a day rate rather then an hourly rate. that being said it might already be an option but I just dont know it exists.

Pros:

That its free but gives me full function of the service as a single user.

Cons:

It's not customisable. It's quite clunky. I'd prefer to have the focus be the project not the client as I am freelance and not a corporate company.

Great clocking system for small businesses

Before we had to accurate way to track home workers, and in this current climate this has become more important than ever.

Clockodo makes it easy to set up new users wherever they may be in the world, and to track their hours accurately.

Cons:

I wish there was a function that rounded up or down hours to the nearest 10 minutes, as sometimes it can be time consuming to do this ourselves.

Pros:

I find it extremely useful that I can see the project budget and how much of that budget has been used every time I track. It’s also great that I can set a certain amount for a task under a project that we are working on.

Cons:

I did not find anything wrong with the software.

Reasons for choosing Clockodo

It is over all cheaper and user friendly. There is always support when I need a question answered.

Reasons for switching to Clockodo

You could only make a project amount and couldn’t have an amount set for an individual task. You also did not see the project budget beside the project.

Clockodo=Amazing

I really enjoy to be able to attribute a client and a project as I start and pause the clock. But the real deal is to be able to produce a report by time period that turns into an invoice in my Quickbooks online in one click

Projekte können überbucht werden, Als Inhaber kannn ich mir keine Projekte zuweisen. Es werden immer alle Projekte beim der Stundeneingabe angezeigt, man kann das Beschreibungsfeld nicht als Pflichtfeld auswählen bei Projekten. Auswertungen der noch verfügbaren Stunden pro Mitarbeiter ist nicht Möglich. kurzfristige frei Mitarbeiter müssen immer mit ins Abo für die Abolaufzeit gebucht werden. Kein Projektleiter auf Kundenseite und in den Berichten einstellbar

Easy to use, very helpful for time tracking

I need to track time worked on various customers' projects and know when I'm nearing an estimated or not-to-exceed limit. It's very easy to track, and the reports are flexible and easy to use.

Pros:

We are a service company, so we need to keep track of how we spend our hours. We work per project, and within project we work per phase, which each their own budgets. It's very easy to do that in Clockodo. Clockodo is easy to use, and easy to analyse.

Cons:

That it's separate from other project software we are using. It would be nice if all was connected.

Clockodo fits our needs perfectly!

Clockodo saved my life! It provides a great time tracking tool that doesn't take up any time to use with excellent reporting tools.

It's easy to create multiple clients and assign projects. The software is very flexible and you can customize how you assign rates & structure different clients.

Cons:

Honestly, there's nothing I don't like about the software.
