About Exact for Project Management

Exact for Project Management, created by Exact Software, is a full suite of applications that includes integrated project management, accounting and invoicing, time and expense tracking, document and resource management, and more. The suite is completely customizable and can be tailored to fit the needs of any size corporation.

Exact for PM is a cloud-based solution that can be accessed via iPad or another tablet as well as Windows and Mac platforms. Data is stored in the cloud, and can be synced automatically after working offline. The solution helps with resource allocation, project scoping, and operations visibility.

With Exact for Project Management, users can access specific projects they’re working on, drag and drop tasks to their planning boards, track and manage their leads with the integrated CRM module, and more.

En nuestro caso, la disponibilidad de los datos y su explotación es fundamental y lo hemos conseguido con los productos de EXACT, aunque hemos tenido que dedicar una parte importante del proyecto de implantación a realizar personalizaciones de la instalación. El gestor documental estándar no cumplía con nuestros requerimientos, pero la parte positiva es la facilidad con la que hemos podido realizar una personalización de la herramienta y funciona a la perfección.

La facilidad de acceso a todos los datos del proyecto, así como el control documental del mismo. Es muy fácil para los usuarios la introducción de dedicaciones y gastos a los diferentes proyectos en los que intervienen. La explotación de los datos a través de Qlik es muy eficiente, siempre y cuando se realice un trabajo previo de configuración de informes para explotar los datos a conveniencia del modelo empresarial
Cons:
Loq ue menos me ha gustado es la falta de comunicación natural entre SYNERGY y GLOBE, los procesos entre ambos softwares deberían ser más eficientes sin tener que repetir la introducción de datos. Es fundamental que la coherencia de datos no dependa de la atención del usuario, debería haber más automatización. Estoy seguro que EXACT mejorará el producto en el futuro en este sentido.

Por la relación entre la calidad / precio / funcionalidad, pero también fue muy importante en la decisión la confianza que han transmitido las personas de EXACT participantes en el proceso de venta del producto.

Porque necesitábamos continuar la gestión de nuestro negocio con un una empresa de software (y su producto) que tuviera estabilidad y crecimiento, tanto en funcionalidades como en la mejora de la explotación de los datos. Es un sistema crítico que no puede depender de la estabilidad y la capacidad de inversión de una empresa local.

Pues a nivel general, la empresa gracias a la herramiento de Exact y a otros visores de analitica de datos, tiene un control general de los proyectos en tiempo real a nivel economico y de gestion.

Lo que mas me ha gustado del software es el entorno que tiene y su facil uso y adaptacion al mismo. La integracion a los procesos de la empresa no fue nada complicado y cada dia se van actualizando nuevos procesos de automatizacion.
Cons:
Quizas lo mas complicado sea el tema de planificacion de recursos enfocado al area de ingenieria.
