About EspressReport

EspressReport is a Java reporting tool, designed to help small to large enterprises extract data from numerous sources such as Excel, XML files, Text files, and Java arrays and design reports.

The solution allows professionals to schedule report templates or command-line operations. Users can perform 3D rendering and prepare multiple 2D and 3D charts through time-series zooming, data drill-down, run-time text substitution and pop-up label functionalities. EspressReport comes with a statistical feature, which enables supervisors to draw trend lines, histograms, normal curves, box charts, Pareto charts and control lines. With its subreport feature, professionals can link data columns with data columns in the main report by performing a relational join.

EspressReport offers integration with various third-party applications. Support is extended via documentation.

QuadBase and ERP Trimergo for project driven companies: 15 years combination of proven IT-technology

QuadBase is a reliable partner for us. One of the strong points is the professional and enjoyable Support, day & night :) People who want to make nice report should have big affinity with databases and be good analytical. Give a lot of attention to 100% specifications of the required report before you start, that wil help in following proces of building the ER-reports! Commercial: it's good that there are always tailor made solutions possible when clients need special offers for their license.

The possibilities with ER are almost endless!

Cons:

When you have to change a report, the lay-out of the report is often 'destroyed' and it costs a some time to fix this again to version no. 1. The graphical features could be better, sometimes ER is not intuitive.

Vendor Response

The "destroy layout" problem was actually not reproducible my our team and a test case was not provided as well. However, our development team identified some scenarios that could lead to vulnerability due to too much (unnecessary) flexibility given to users. We have since implemented new features to safeguard such issues in the newer versions. Please give it a try.

Value for money product
