About Orisha Commerce
Openbravo offers retail chains a cloud-based SaaS platform for unified commerce. A single centralized platform, connecting all applications, channels and touchpoints in real time, and enabling physical stores as a powerful fulfillment center.
It offers retailers a single view of all available stock in real time, supporting a broad range of shopping scenarios, both in-store and cross-channel, such as cross-store sales, Click and Collect, Ship from Store, web bookings or cross-returns between stores and channels.
For physical stores, Openbravo offers a single solution across all retail touchpoints, including fixed tills, mobile devices and self-checkout terminals, which eliminates the need for local store servers, greatly simplifying the complexity and costs associated with the technological infrastructure of each store. With built-in features such as access to order history across channels, tiered loyalty programs, recommendations and a flexible discount engine.
Built on a fully modular cloud platform, with a standard web services API.

En general la experiencia ha sido positiva, es un software suficiente para empresas de tamaño medio pero que queda limitado cuando la empresa crece. Es fácil de hacer desarrollos adhoc pero es una limitación porque para nutrir la solucion con proceso que mejores la productividad necesitas de adquirir otras soluciones y acoplarlas, cosa que hace encarecer el ecosistema.

Hola Roger, muchas gracias por tu opinión. Openbravo efectivamente nació como ERP, pero desde hace unos años, no ofrecemos un sistema de este tipo, sino una solución en la nube para negocios minoristas de tamaño medio a grande, con foco principal en operaciones de tienda y de comercio unificado. Por ello ya no nos consideramos un proveedor de solución ERP y ciertas capacidades típicamente incluidas en este tipo de sistemas, no las ofrecemos. A nivel de escalabilidad, hoy servimos a clientes que pueden llegar a tener cientos de tiendas físicas e integraciones con múltiples sistemas, necesarios para una ejecución omnicanal extremo-a-extremo, como el eCommerce, plataformas de fidelización o el propio ERP de la compañía. Dentro de las tiendas, nuestro componente TPV es de los más valorados por los clientes, tanto a nivel tecnológico como de usabilidad, en comparación con otras soluciones del mercado. Openbravo un-doubt the best product in the market, it has fastest sync rate between ERP and POS Terminal. It has complete Omni-Channel concept and works on any device. Companies can make all stores server free with this.

Great open source ERP

I helped one customer to select an ERP to replace their old home-developed one. The alternatives included mostly commercial suites such as Microsoft Navision. Although the customer was initially reluctant to use an open source product, they changed their mind when they saw other running settings, the professional support services available from Openbravo and their partners and the big flexilibity of the product. It is a product with hundreds of existing customers all around the world and with a big community of developers supporting it.
