Reasons for choosing Stride Events
I've used eventbrite in the past and I dislike the marketplace feel of their platform. It felt too noisy for my brand, and doesn't convey the classiness and upscale nature of my event well. I also have to absorb more costs per sale.
Reasons for switching to Stride Events
Shopify was confusing to my customers. I had to manage all the back-end myself. I also had to collect the sales taxes and organize all the vendors and guests manually on spreadsheets. It also mixed my records from the event with my retail store records which wasn't ideal. Now that I switched to Stride events, that is all handled through the software effectively offloading those tasks. As a solopreneur it's been invaluable.
