About CSipSimple

CSipSimple is a session initiation protocol (SIP)-based business VoIP solution that allows users to make calls over the internet using Android-based mobile devices. Key features include voicemail by email, call forwarding, caller ID and more.

Users can set up CSipSimple by providing basic information such as display names, usernames, their SIP server and passwords. CSipSimple also provides users with unique VoIP account numbers, which are used as phone numbers to receive calls.

CSipSimple also provides users with VoIP Direct, which allows them to make calls to their contacts by dialing a local number when the internet connection is not available.

Services are offered are based on the pay-as-you-go pricing model that includes support via phone, live chat and online FAQs.

Solid but Dated VOIP Client

Csipsimple was my VoIP client for at least 10 years until there was a promotion to purchase Groundwire. It served me well and I recommend it to anyone on a strict budget.

Pros:

Great client app to begin with VoIP without breaking the bank. It's possible to purchase Codecs to improve call quality.

Cons:

Apps like Groundwire are easier to set up and configure. Csipsimple is also no longer available at the Google Play store.

Reasons for choosing CSipSimple

Better call quality with regular VoIP. Need to purchase ATA codes from other products.
