I love how easy it is when we need to reconcile expenses with receipts.
Cons:
The app with pictures taken does not work well. I have had multiple "loss" of receipts because of this. The other thing that would need to improve is subscriptions when billing. Invoices cant be different from invoice 1 and 2. For any subscriptions, they are all the same except the number of the invoice. Not very efficient... The bank reconciliation is sometimes not totally perfect, but it is okay.

Pennylane is the software I use to work with my bookkeeper

Pennylane helps me work with my accountant and in the future I wish to use it more to manage my cash and my P&L. But the process to implement all these things is actually longer than I expected.

Pennylane is a good tool to work with your accountant, and it helps matching your bank account and your invoices. It is very easy to upload an invoice in Pennylane, and easy as well to generate invoices for your own customers. For my needs, that are quite basic, it is perfectly suitable.
Cons:
The implementation process was quite long, and there is a connectivity issue with my bank account. Also, the customer support is very long to reach (there are super busy all the time).

Reasons for switching to Pennylane

Pennylane helps you follow your cash, but also is an accounting tool. So there was no use keeping both tools. Pennylane also appears to be twice cheaper.

Franchement, c’est super complet : tu gères vraiment tout au même endroit, la factu, la compta et y a aussi un compte pro que j'utilise maintenant en principal pour mon entreprise. Je trouve que l’interface est hyper intuitive vs mon précédent outil. Je paye un peu plus cher mais je peux tout faire et je n'ai pas besoin de bidouiller ou d'avoir d'autres outils. Avec le compte pro inclus, je peux faire autant qu'avant et ça revient au final moins cher pour plus de fonctionnalités.

L'intégration Amazon est inexistante - Publicité mensongère

La connexion avec le compte vendeur Amazon, bien qu'indiquée sur leur site web comme étant fonctionnelle, ne l'est pas du tout. Je fais 250 000€/an sur Amazon, soit 95% du CA de ma société. C'est donc l'intérêt principal de pennylane pour moi. Mais il n'y a pas d'intégration fonctionnelle entre pennylane et Amazon, leur publicité est mensongère. Par contre, pour prélever l'argent ils sont bien présents, mais pour rembourser quand ils manquent à leurs obligations, il n'y a plus personne.

Fluidité et réduction de la charge mentale Qonto et Pennylane

Le logiciel est facile d'utilisation et agréable. Je l'utilise surtout avec Qonto, car avec Qonto j'ai une notification instantané au moment de l'achat pour rentrer mon justificatifs et ensuite les informations sont remontées directement sur Pennylane c'est un vrai gain de temps.

La fluidité de l'application, de plus l'interface est très agréable et professionnel. J'ai apprécie le fait que cela soit intégré à Qonto.
Cons:
Le tarif des abonnements pour avoir des tableaux analytique et le fait que ça manque de graphique modulable tels que l'on peut le retrouver sur Qonto. Les tarifs pour obtenir des graphismes ou analyses ne sont pas du tout adapté aux indépendants ça serait bien d'envisager des tarifs pour cette catégorie de professionnel car nos besoins sont plus spécifique que les PME ou grande entreprises.

L'interface de Pennylane est très claire, facile à utiliser sans compétence de comptabilité. La facturation intégrée est bien si on n'a pas un autre outil. La connexion bancaire et le suivi des flux sont automatiques, claires. Gain de temps gracia à l'automatisation.
Cons:
La gestion de multi-devises à developper un peu plus. Le prix un peu élevé par rapport à d'autres solutions.

je le conseille vivement à tous ceux qui ont du temps et de l’argent à perdre.
Cons:
Pour t’attirer, un commercial te fait une offre canon pour te faire signer (à vie). Dans mon cas, 46,80 euros TTC pour 2 comptes bancaire synchronisés et 100 factures. Puis quelques mois plus tard, quand t’as bien pris en main l’outil, ils te saignent. Depuis deux mois, je suis facturé 178,80 TTC avec toujours 2 comptes bancaire synchronisés et mois 100 factures fournisseurs à traiter chaque mois. + de 200% d’augmentation… Le service client te dit de contacter la compta par mail, la compta te dit qu’un commercial va t’appeler. J’attends toujours après plusieurs relances. J’imagine que les commerciaux préfèrent signer de nouveaux pigeons.
