About Maxanet

Maxanet is a cloud-based auction management solution designed for companies of all sizes. It offers online bidding, inventory management, registration, credit card integration, bulk email and reporting.

Maxanet offers various types of online bidding such as open bidding, maximum bidding and hidden bidding. Users can manage time-bound auctions and collaborative auctions. The inventory management feature allows users to add, update and delete auction items in real time. 5 WordPress website template are available to create mobile-responsive landing pages where bidders and organizers can access a feed of available products and current bids.

Maxanet integrates with MaxanetPay payment gateway, which allows bidders to make credit card transactions. The bulk email feature and automatic text outbid notifications can be used to send acknowledgements and notification to registered bidders.

Support is offered through an online knowledge base, live chat, email or screenshare training. Pricing is per month.

Pros:

We just finished our first couple of auctions on the software. I can’t tell you how smooth pickup and shipping were. With the guidance the Knowledge Base provides, I felt rather confident navigating and processing invoices right away. Shipping was a breeze and NOT the bane of my existence like it usually is. I didn't have to stop what I was doing, talk on the phone, write down credit card numbers, or otherwise deviate from my to-do list because the software has everything at my fingertips. Total game-changer for us!

Cons:

Nothing specific - a lot of it is just taking the time to learn new software. I wish we could customize the size of the QR code tags though.

Reasons for switching to Maxanet

Lower fees, more flexibility, and fewer rules about selling. The other software we used helped us build our business and offered great support but with our bottom line being affected so much, Maxanet fit our needs quite well.
