About PriMus

PriMus is a cost estimating tool suitable for construction businesses of all sizes. It offers a drag-and-drop interface, standard format price lists, document templates, integrated price cost lists and more. The solution is deployed on-premise and is compatible with Windows operating systems.

PriMus offers tools to help users manage quantity surveying, cost estimating and bill of quantities (BOQ). Cost estimates and BOQs can be viewed simultaneously. The drag-and-drop interface allows users to copy items between documents. Users can also acquire measurement data from a CAD drawing.

Document printouts can be generated automatically in various layouts. PriMus can be used to produce and manage a multitude of document types including price lists with unit rates, construction cost estimates, job estimates, requests for proposals (RFP), comparison charts, project documents and templates, labor incidence estimates, health and safety incidence estimates and technical specifications.

Support is offered via email. Monthly and annual pricing are available.

Pros:

Si tratta di un ottimo software per il computo metrico estimativo, l'analisi dei prezzi, la cronoprogramma lavori. Inoltre può supportare anche la direzione lavori nelle varie fasi dell'attività, dalla progettazione all'esecuzione.

Cons:

Il software ha presentato alcuni errori in fase di installazione e nei primi utilizzi. Il servizio di assistenza ha contribuito però a risolverli con efficacia.

Il software viene utilizzato dall'Ufficio Tecnico per l'elaborazione dei computi metrici, analisi prezzi, e per la definizione del GANT dei lavori. Viene inoltre usato dalla DL nelle varie fasi dell'attività, dalla progettazione all'esecuzione, fino al monitoraggio dei costi dei materiale e complessivamente del progetto.

Cons:

Il software ha avuto qualche blocco nei primi utilizzi, risolti grazie al servizio di assistenza. Il rapporto qualità prezzo del prodotto resta comunque elevato.

Buon strumento Acca ma si può fare di meglio

è un applicativo integrato con gli altri software acca, dunque può sempre essere utile averlo se si usano altri software della stessa casa di produzione. Regge bene anche file molto pesanti come computi metrici per ristrutturazioni di condomini, ed è possibile separare i conti fatti per ciascuna delle parti private da quelli delle parti comuni. Fa il suo lavoro di formattare il computo metrico e permettere di esportarlo in pdf.

Cons:

L'apprendimento non è intuitivo. In generale non mi sono trovata benissimo perchè è un po' macchinoso. Speravo che fosse meglio integrato con gli altri software acca così da riconoscere alcuni elementi presenti nel progetto in modo automatico, invece va inserito tutto a mano, con lo svantaggio che l'inserimento è lungo e faticoso rispetto ad altri software in commercio.
