Pros:

If you a small enterprise looking for a survey solution in the DIY survey market, Confirmit might not be for you. But if your a medium to large organisation looking for a professional survey solution employing survey specialists, nothing I've used yet (I've used multiple survey software platforms over the 27 years of my career) comes anywhere near as good as Confirmit for multi mode professional survey research. Confirmit is user friendly logical, flexible, solid and stable. Perhaps one of the best features of the software is the level of support available to customers. With SLA's in the hour mark no survey operator in my career lifetime have beaten confirm'its speed of response and proactive approach to problem solving. Other providers have taken days even weeks to resolve issues. In a fast-paced professional research environment speed of resolution is mission critical.

Cons:

Confirmit have been slower to develop the DIY approach and researchers tend to like the DIY build as you go approach to creating surveys that other monkey type survey offerings provide. Having said that Confirmit are currently being heavily invested in this area to match the competition and its Survey Designer platform already provides a professional survey offering to DIY research fanatics.

Most Powerful Survey Software On The Market

My overall experience has been great. I do find them a little slow in the support department.

Pros:

It's easy to learn the basics and extremely powerful once you are an advanced user. You can pretty much use Jscript to do anything you need to.

Cons:

The reporting functions are a little difficult to master. Creating a set of deliverable tabs in the software itself is not possible.

Confirmit will do what you want but it won't be easy.

We were able to switch off of the system that Confirmit replaced. This was a good thing since support for the replaced system was not good. The survey writers were able to learn to use Confirmit fairly quickly.

Confirmit is probably good market research software but we are trying to perform policy research questionnaires and there are a number of problems with this. The programmers have learned the software fairly quickly and we can put up a survey within a few days. This is good.

Cons:

It took a number of months to get Confirmit running on our systems. We could not use the cloud based system since Confirmit could not guarantee which data center support would be in. It would in the US or in Europe and we have contracts that say out data cannot leave the US. The database has also caused many problems for us. Confirmit like to create many databases which fills up the database server with numerous databases, not good.

Advanced Survey Software

Confirmit is good at what it focuses on. It has come out with awesome new products recently, and I'm excited to keep using it

Confirmit is especially good at customizable functionality. They are unlike other softwares in the simple number of options that are available to you, allows for complex configurations.

Cons:

Its strengths are its weakness. Confirmit can seem extremely complex, and hard to nail down. Other survey softwares are simpler.

Powerful survey building software which benefits from further time and development investment

Slightly clunky software that's clearly powerful and requires proper investment in development time to maximise its potential.

Pros:

The sheer amount of customisation options for building your survey that you can then use the same software to distribute to 1,000s of other users.

Cons:

The difficulty in revising question order and the level of precision needed when developing the survey using the tool. It offers multi language support but it's hard for people with non-native level proficiency to work on those translations within the system. You'll need to send the text to others for verification.

Expensive complex tool strugling to be user friendly

The company I work for had a vendor that recommended and implemented Confirmit. It took a lot of time and effort to set up multiple NPS surveys for our organization. Maybe the tool allows you to setup complex surveys but it does not fit for simple surveys on a smaller scale or for creating multiple small surveys in a swift and easy way where you need actionable insights fast. So the tool did not fit our needs.

It allows you to run surveys. Icannot mention oen thing where Confirmit Horizons stands out.

Cons:

Having used a few DIY platforms, I took a few steps backward in history when I arrived at a company that used Confirmit Horizons. It pretty simple: the tool is not user friendly and way too complex if you want to run simple surveys. It takes a lot of effort to set up surveys, email invitations do not render well on mobile devices, they have no decent templates, the (manual) coding of open answers is time consuming, the options to create and design custom reports are limited. And the product is way too expensive.
