    Constant frustration with ICNEA

    My overall experience with ICNEA has been frustrating and disappointing. While the system offers useful features on paper, in practice they often fail to work as intended. The lack of reliable customer support only makes matters worse. Issues I raised more than once were left unresolved, and there seems to be no real commitment to improving the service or addressing long-standing problems. I would not recommend ICNEA for serious property managers.

    The interface is generally intuitive, and the system includes a fair range of functionalities designed for the holiday rental sector. Integration with other platforms is decent in theory.
    Cons:
    Customer service is unreliable: Phone support in Spain is virtually non-existent. Calls are never answered. The automated system keeps you waiting for several minutes before redirecting you to email due to “all lines being busy”. Delayed and unhelpful ticket responses: Email support generates tickets, but replies are slow and rarely provide effective solutions. Severe bugs in key features: Supplements (optional extras) can be created but do not link properly to the reservations. Guests see and select them, but the services are never recorded internally—leading to serious misunderstandings. Repeated unresolved issues: I reported this issue the first time it happened, and nothing was done. Months later, the same bug occurred with a second supplement. No progress, no fixes. No sense of accountability: I’ve expressed dissatisfaction multiple times, but the lack of interest or follow-up is clear.

    My apartments use TESA smart locks, and ICNEA was the only provider that confirmed having an existing integration with the TESA system. This was a key requirement for my operations, so it strongly influenced my decision.

    Llevo utilizando Icnea desde hace un tiempo y estoy sumamente satisfecho con la experiencia. Una de las características que más destaco es la gestión de calendarios. La forma en que Icnea organiza y presenta la disponibilidad de propiedades es intuitiva y clara, lo que me permite gestionar reservas con una eficiencia que no había encontrado en otros PMS. El sistema sincroniza perfectamente con los canales de distribución, evitando problemas de overbooking y asegurando que la información esté siempre actualizada.
    Cons:
    Tiene que mejorar el canal de chat con todos los portales. Ahora mismo solamente tiene con Airbnb. Es un punto que tienen que mejorar si o si.

    Buen sistema de reservas

    En general van mejorando año tras año, son un sistema sencillo se utilizar, le falta la parte más intuitiva, pero tiene muchas cosas que puedes hacer a tu gusto y tiene muchas partes automatizadas que ayudan a la gestión de las reservas.

    En general calidad-precio, está muy bien el sistema, los trabajadores resuelven bastante rápido los problemas.
    Cons:
    No tiene atención al cliente 24h los 365 días, solo días laborables de 9h a 15h, se nos queda corto a veces. Aún deben mejorar muchas cosas, pero en cuanto al resto de sistemas parecidos tienen un sistema muy completo.

    Siempre hay respuesta y apoyo por parte del equipo de Gestores. Esto fue fundamental para entener de forma el correcto funcionamiento.
    Cons:
    Al principio no es intuitivo, porque debes acostumbrarte a un nuevo diseño de pantalla, en el que hay demasiados clicks.

    Personal técnico y soporte de cuentas muy amables y creo que están haciendo lo posible para solventar los problemas. Desde fuera parece que hay problemas estructurales internos, específicamente entre programación y los demás departamentos. No hay asistencia a partir de las 16 horas peninsular y los fines de semana. Por lo que los errores de conexión suelen ser especialmente dolorosos si ocurren un viernes al medio día.

    Tiene muchas integraciones y opciones de personalización.
    Cons:
    El channel manager y algunas integraciones (cerraduras electrónicas p.ej.) son muy inestables. Hay que estar siempre muy atentos ya que serás tu, el usuario se dará cuenta que algo está fallando, no ICNEA. En otras palabras: aparentemente carecen de cualquier tipo de control y auditoría diaria para detectar fallos. En ningún caso van a asumir la responsabilidad por perdidas económicas sufridas ni recibirás respuesta satisfactoria alguna. Si tienes una cartera de clientes grande, hay que estar muy despierto y hacer pruebas y controles a diario ya que las automatizaciones suelen fallar con frecuencia y como mencionado anteriormente.

    Es muy barato comparado con otros del sector, pero la aplicación y el servicio es acorde a su precio, es decir, de muy baja calidad
    Cons:
    La aplicación es muy limitada y el servicio al cliente es lamentable, es una queja general de los usuarios, de hecho han quitado la cuenta de Google My business para que la gente no les deje reviews malos quejándose.

    No hay avances ni mejoras con los años. En mi experiencia con otros PMS hoteleros, se ven los avances año tras año, mejoras sugeridas por los clientes. En Icnea los avances son poco significativos desde 2019 que trabajamos con vosotros.
