      After years of searching: Finally a tool that speaks Crew Language 🤘

Since then, I’ve been on a long, painful hunt for the perfect planning tool. I’ve tried several along the way, but nothing ever beat my messy-but-reliable online Excel sheet. A year ago, I gave it another go — demo after demo — and then I landed at OnSinch. For the first time, I felt like a software company wasn’t trying to drain my wallet, but actually wanted to help crew companies like mine. These folks come from the event world themselves, and it shows in every detail. The platform is packed with features, fully customizable, and once you get the hang of it, it’s pure gold. Sure, at first it’s a lot to take in, but their onboarding process is smooth as hell — they walk you through everything until it clicks. They don’t clock out on you; they genuinely want you to get the most out of their tool. Every question gets answered, every tiny problem gets a thoughtful solution.       Steep learning curve initially: With so many features and flexibility, at first it can feel like “whoa — there’s a lot going on”. Customisation + flexibility = you need to invest time in setup: Unlike an “out-of-the-box” minimal tool, you’ll get the most when you dedicate effort to configuring it. But honestly, these “cons” are just pros in disguise, they only mean the system is powerful enough to grow with you.

      The scheduler still needs some work, but the system gets updated very regularly.

      The simplified navigation on the system really helps. The customer service provided from day 1 has also been excellent. It's quick and easy to book jobs, allocate crews and create individual price lists for clients.
      Cons:
      Lots of options to choose from so can be a little daunting when learning the system from the very beginning.

      Made for chaos!

      My focus is technical production for cultural/theater projects. I switched to the application due to the need to improve communication and information flow in the complicated operation of the Jatka78 theater. I had the opportunity to try several solutions, but onSinch came out as the winner - complex, without the need to make compromises. I finally managed the work that was previously done by 3 people myself, accurately and without mistakes. OnSinch now accompanies me in all the more demanding projects (Jatka78, Azyl78, Festival Arena, Forman Brothers Theatre, The Conference of the Birds Tour). I will not let it go. The more demanding the operation, the more useful it becomes. However, it is not just a tool that makes work easier for managers. Its strength lies mainly in its ability to provide employees with various options, motivate them, and facilitate shift selection.

      Online management from anywhere, everything in one place, clarity, customer service and assistance with implementation, easy planning and financial overview, setting of professions and salaries. For employees - easy shift selection, all necessary information, synchronizable calendar. Work becomes game - managers and employees just complete their quests :)
      Cons:
      At first it seemed complicated because it is a really robust system with many options, but with the onSinch team it is possible to reduce the menu and everything to and adapt it to the specific needs of the operation. Once you get used to it, it's hard to do other projects in Excel spreadsheets.

      Sinch is super easy and quick to setup and very intuitive for users to work with. Especially with crisis situation it helped us efficiently manage thousands of people. On the other side, it offers complex functionalities and provides all information and tools for end-to-end workers/volunteer management.
      Cons:
      The payroll module was not possible to implement additionally after the main instance runs. The database import can be done only once, any after-imports need to be manual in order not to rewrite the existing data.
