About BookingKoala

BookingKoala is a cloud-based booking solution that allows users to manage appointments, track sales growth and manage marketing channels. Features include role-based dashboards, integrated coupons, email and SMS reminders, client referrals and multi-location support. Apps for iOS and Android are also available.

BookingKoala provides a customer-facing dashboard that allows clients to manage and view their appointments, refer friends and buy gift cards. Clients can also access a rating tool that lets them provide feedback on service providers. The service provider dashboard displays upcoming appointments, client payments and unassigned bookings.

The admin dashboard lets users manage system settings, edit staff information and change access permissions. A built-in reporting system provides data on revenue, payroll and coupon types. Users can set up several types of bookings, such as on-time or recurring appointments. Other features include system logs, cart abandonment reports and in-app notifications.

Pricing is per month. Support is offered via email.

Pros:

I am not sure if I can pick just one thing. I would have to say the reports or the rating system are some of the best options! Everything is simply great. BookingKoala is simply a great software and I will continue using it for as long as possible.

Quick support, dev team, and good community.

Have been using them for a few months in my cleaning company and they have been fantastic. Quick support, quick dev team pushing new features, and a solid community.

Pros:

How versatile it is at different company sizes. It is a software you can really grow with.

Cons:

The initial setup was tough and took a long time. There are so many features and settings that at first it is a little overwhelming.

Reasons for switching to BookingKoala

Degradation in quality of the product, forcing users to use their own payment processor, and lack of continued quality support.

BookingKoala wins on customization and EASY booking!

My overall experience with BookingKoala is that I do think it is a valuable tool in the marketplace.

Pros:

I liked the ability for customers to book cleanings based on an overall grand scheme of the work needed and custom capabilities.

Cons:

I did not like how difficult it was to set up on the back end. It is very time consuming and difficult for the average person to figure out how to do.

I love the fact that people are able to view different packages online before choosing which one they want to purchase.

Cons:

The forms are something that you need to get used to putting together but after that everything is a breeze!

For me the reminders are a great tool to have especially when trying to juggle multiple appointments daily.

Cons:

I am slow to learn technology so it did take me some time getting used to it, but after I figured it out it was simple.

Great customer service, great features, really easy to use & customize to your liking. We are very happy with this software so far. It will save us a lot of time managing bookings.

An all in one for your business

Pros:

The multi location is a huge feature when it comes to this software. You can set up all your locations and staff under one place. I love it.

Cons:

The reports section took me a little bit to figure out but once I did there was nothing that was too difficult for me to use.
