No support for remote tachograph download.

It is a pretty user-friendly system that has allowed me to connect to multiple third-party systems quite easily, giving me the chance to meet my customers needs

Pros:

Flexibility in the whole extent of the word. Custom user-made reports, alerts, UI and robust developer tools like API and scripting inside the UI give you the chance to fulfill pretty much all customers needs

Cons:

Custom reports are not very easy to make, as you may need to have some knowledge of SQL queries.

When changing form tracking platforms, it is almost impossible to effectively measure stability of the service until you really move. All the commercial platforms in the market will always say yes without even hesitating, and GpsGate was the only company that took the time to try and analyze the extent of the operation before saying yes, that gave me confidence that they were a serious company that is not interest only in the volume of units, but also in fulfilling the operative needs of their customers.

We use GpsGate to coordinate security response units, map mobile patrol location visits, and monitor client panic buttons. Our 24/7 operations centre staff find GpsGate easy to use, our clients like the reports we provide them. GpsGate is a good fit for the security industry, that's why we have used it for so many years.

GpsGate is rock solid software, we especially like the ability to use multiple devices from different manufacturers within the one server.

Cons:

There's not much to dislike about GpsGate. It can take a bit of time for first time users to find their way around all the functions available; noting however, it's that multiple function ability that makes GpsGate a good choice for law enforcement and security company fleets.
