About ElasticRoute

ElasticRoute is a proprietary heuristic-based route planning algorithm that solves the vehicle routing problem for businesses in field service and logistics, worldwide.

It is able to generate optimized and planned routes (benchmarked at under 15 minutes for 6,000 stops) with stop sequences for each run and estimated time of arrival (ETA) for each stop. ElasticRoute also takes care of real-world constraints like multiple depots, service time, time windows, load capacity, loading time, zones, rush hours buffers, drivers’ working hours and more, in the route plans. With its speed and unique algorithm, ElasticRoute is scalable and able to cater to high volumes of large fleets with thousands of stops per plan.

Any business, regardless of size and location, is able to harness ElasticRoute’s capability of producing natural cluster-based routes, which reduce the time required in having to manually amend or make changes to the planned routes and reduces the resistance from drivers rejecting the stop sequence planned for them.

Exceeded my expectations

I have been using it less than a year, however, up to this point it has served my business well. We are looking forward to growing out company and have Elastic Route grow with us. My background had me managing over 800 drivers with over 10,000 deliveries a day....I don't anticipate growing this company to that size, but you never know. I hope Elastic Route can grow with me

The ease in which it integrates with Detrack

Cons:

I would like the ability to move data fields around in the reports section. I would really like the ability to "CREATE MY OWN" reports. List all the fields of data then let me create "Custom" reports

Reasons for choosing ElasticRoute

Speaking with Detrack team members they convinced me that the way Elastic Route would integrate with Detrack was very appealing to me. They have not disappointed me in any way. A mentioned I would just like a little more "Custom" flexibility when it comes to creating reports. List the data fields and let me decide "WHAT" data and the "FORMAT" in which I want to see it on screen or printed into a report. A CUSTOM REPORT GENERATOR" This goes for Elastic Route and Detrack!!

Reasons for switching to ElasticRoute

Started a new business and just wanted to see what was available and try something new. I have not been disappointed up to this point. I must say that the entire Detrack and Elastic route staff are amazing people and go the extra to provide you with precise, knowledgeable answers to your questions, or challenges in extreemly fast time frame. Pros:

It cut our time in half with the help of ElasticRoute. Giving us more time to focus on the important sides of the business.

Cons:

The detachment from DeTrack, i wish it had all been in the same platform.

Reasons for choosing ElasticRoute

For the east and also the cost. It was a no win situation as we can turn specific licenses off when the vans were not in use.

A real efficient system with amazing capabilites. Would reccoomend to anyone looking for a dynamic and efficient easy to use system as part of their routing needs.

Cons:

The crossover of platforms with Detrack, we found that the information transfer from one site to the other wasn't always complete.

Pros:

Most logistics software will not make the routing API available alone. ElasticRoute has a powerful API that we are using in our own logistics mini-app which is part of the Zeymo ERP

Cons:

The service is not cheap, the UI needs to be updated

We migrated from RouteMyFleet to Elastic Route. What used to take 2 hours, now takes no more than a few minutes. A dramatic improvement for our business.

Cons:

Would like to see more customization fields

Cons:

The feature to reorder the planned route in ElasticRoute is still in the development pipeline. Meanwhile, the planned route needs to be manually adjusted in Detrack.
