An very convenient tool for controlling your computer remotely

My overall experience is very positive so far. I use Chrome Remote Desktop daily in order to control my computer from my android phone when I'm not at home. It has helped me a lot and it's free!

Chrome Remote Desktop makes it really easy to control your computer remotely. The navigation is smooth and fast.

Cons:

When I use Chrome Remote Desktop to control my computer using my android device it's sometimes difficult to type text and use the keyboard in general. The typing functionality is not convenient.

Chrome Remote Desktop is a primary tool for remote work. I highly suggest it if you need an easy to use remote connection software.

Overall, Chrome Remote Desktop has made my job easier. It helps me to be able to log in to the work computer to pull reports, troubleshoot and train those struggling with something in the office. I used to use a variety of solutions but they charge for work related connections, so I just choose to use Chrome, because it isn't needed very often at all

I love the simplicity of being able to remotely log in to my connected computer with my Gmail account. It helps me get reports I need and to troubleshoot when the office is having issues with their computer (as long as it is still connected to the internet)

Cons:

There are a few features missing. I'm not sure If there is the ability to use more than one computer on it, but I didn't see it if it is available. It is a very basic remote desktop connection but if you just need to be like you are sitting at your computer, most things run perfectly.

Reasons for switching to Chrome Remote Desktop

Chrome is free. Other than that I was satisfied with RealVNC which was the last tool I used.

A very limited tool

I have had a satisfactory experience with this tool, in my opinion, it is not the best tool of this type on the market, but it has the plus of being from Google and being quite simple to use. For not-so-complicated jobs, it is a tool that I recommend, but if you need something more demanding, I think it leaves a lot to be desired.

Chrome Remote is a tool that offers a very limited catalog of options, but the ones it does have are very well thought out. It is a platform that is part of the Google ecosystem, which is great because it allows you to improve the experience through integrations. It is a platform that works well, it has good security, and it has a special integration with Chrome, with which you can get a lot of use out of the remote tool. In general, it is a good tool for remote work.

Cons:

It is a platform that is very limited, the interface leaves much to be desired, it does not have differential tools that distinguish it from the rest, and, in addition, it often has too much lag, either from the computer or from the phone.

It’s super easy to set up and works with almost no effort. The connection is stable, the controls are smooth, and it lets me get into my computer from anywhere without needing extra software.

Cons:

I liked the ease of install and ability to access my desktop from other locations. It is also helpful for someone else to have one time access to for tech help.

Cons:

I felt that Chrome Remote Desktop had a noticeable lag. We use a lot of programs for drafting floor plans where a lag effects our performance significantly.

I use remote desktop to access various devices across the company remotely. I like the user dashboard and how easy it is to get on other machines using this software.

Cons:

Sometimes my devices will fall off the remote desktop dashboard and show they are no longer online. It is not clear why this happens.

The number 2 browser for a very good reason

The browser works smoothly and has great tab interface. There are loads of add-ons which only makes things easier to use and there are constant updtaes to keep it at the front.

Cons:

Sometimes viewing PDFs is clumsy - Adobe is better - and the 'resume browsing' feature is just annoying with no easy way to switch it off.

Chrome Remote Desktop is an amazing application designed by Google that allows users to access another device that is connected to the internet. Setting the application up is extremely easy. You do not have to be a tech wiz to use it. Being a teacher, I have multiple devices I use throughout the day. Chrome Remote Desktop allows me to access my work computer from home. I no longer have to carry my computer home with me. All I have to do is connect to my PC at work with my personal laptop. It turns my laptop into my school PC.

Cons:

One con would be the reliance on the Google ecosystem. You must have a Google account to use this software. Chrome Remote Desktop also lacks some of the features of other programs that give users remote access.
