One of the best aspects is how customizable the rewards are. From gift cards to donations, Bonusly offers something for everyone, which really boosts participation and encourages frequent, meaningful recognition.
Cons:
Bonusly works best when it's an integral part of the work culture, promoting positive reinforcement and continuous acknowledgment of efforts. When used sparingly, the sense of shared celebration and team unity can wane. When employees see Bonusly being used inconsistently, they might not see its value or may forget about it, leading to a decline in adoption and participation rates.

Great team boot!

As the leader of the company I loved this tool. It automated yet personalized recognition. Every time someone logged in for the first time it was neat to see their excitement and engagement. I love the concept of the app and that we could allow team members to send rewards to other team members.

Loved that my team could hand out recognition to other team members. The engagement from the team sending congratulations and supportive messages was amazing to see as a company leader. We also enjoyed that it integrated with our HR program and didn't require hours of set up and maintenance.
Cons:
It is pricy for a small team. We have a team of 15-18 and the cost was high for a business of our size. Additionally, at first we saw a lot of engagement from the whole team then engagement dwindled down to a few team members after a few months. It was hard to keep engagement flowing with a high turnover industry as well.

While there are a few partner choice, there are still some big brands missing in a few big categories like grocery or travel.

Cons:
Every month you lose any points that are left over. I'm not sure if it is a setup issue or not. I would like to roll over the extra.
