About TimeStation

TimeStation is a cloud-based solution that allows businesses to track and maintain a record of employees' attendance on a centralized platform. HR professionals can monitor staff's check-in/out timings, monitor users' activities, and determine the GPS location of time entries.

TimeStation provides mobile applications for iOS and Android devices, which enable organizations to track the time spent across projects and generate online reports to streamline payroll processes. Managers can filter reports based on start or end dates and export them in CSV or Excel format for future reference. Additionally, staff members can use the self-service portal to verify and manually update time entries.

Simplicity and ease of use

My overall experience with Time Station has been positive, especially because it is simple. Was easy to get everyone onboard to use it and was able to give my client access.

Pros:

I liked most about Time Station was its simplicity and ease of use. The app is very straightforward, making it quick for employees to clock in and out with minimal training required

Cons:

There was no ability to Geo Fence locations. To keep employees from clocking in and out outside of the Geofenced area

Pros:

With the punch clock right on the wall it was so easy to get folks to punch in. And even though the camera function was really a QR code, it made the employees really feel like they needed to punch in and out themselves. It was super easy to onboard employees and find reports. We often cycle thru crew so we were constantly adding people.

Cons:

The cost per person was what did us in. With a constancy cycle of employees we always hit the max then had to choice who to turn off and on.

Found the overall reporting options difficult. Didn't find many of the reports covered our needs

Employees found the variety of ways to track time good. Some entered time in time out while others clocked in and out.

Cons:

Not able to generate job codes.Cost was a major factor.

Clockify gives much more functionality for free.We were able to specify work being completed and run better reports

Effective Timeclock

Overall is is a great fit for our company. It is easy to use and works well with very few issues.

We each have our individual code and the times and it is so easy and quick to clock in and out.

Cons:

Leaving the clock in/out screen on our iPad seems to drain the battery. No other program seems to do it. We have looked for a way to change this to no avail.

Very easy to use. Has all the basic necessities for every day punch ins and outs. Also has GPS Tracking to show where employees punch in and out from.

Cons:

Does not integrate with accounting software. Did not provide many job costing options. The reports could be simpler.
