About vIDix LABOR

vIDix Labor is a Web-based time and attendance solution that helps automate the time data collection and calculation. The application is available as a Cloud-based or On-Premise solution.

Employees can track their time with Time Clocks, Employee Self Service Portal, or an Online Timesheet. Geofencing, photo capture, and screening questions can also be set up as part of the punch process. Employees can also access other valuable information such as total hours worked, time off balances, and requests and schedules.

With flexible configuration rules, you can automate complex pay rules and track time to multiple labor accounts. Share data seamlessly with your payroll solution.

So far so good.

My overall experience with vIDix labor has been good. There have been bumps in the road but the team works hard to fix them in a semi-timely manner.

Pros:

vIDix Labor is very similar to the Ban-Koe time clock system we have been using for many years. I like the option to view online and the option to let our remote working keep their own time sheet. We have not used this yet as we are still building but this will be a time saver.

Cons:

I dislike that the system cannot meet our previous PR needs and we were forced to change the way we calculate PR at a cost to our company. This is so far the biggest downfall.

Reasons for choosing vIDix LABOR

We have used Ban-Koe for many years and it has worked well for us. We opted to upgrade and continue with their services because of this reason.

Great for Basic Uses

Good experience, but it can use improvements.

The information is displayed in a way that makes it easy it understand. It is very easy to make edits with employees time.

Cons:

Running reports can be difficult sometimes, because the manual doesn't show everything for reports so you need to do a bit of trial and error to get what you want out of the reports functions.

The reporting process needs improvement. Creating and managing reports needed to maintain all data needed is difficult and not at all user friendly.

As a user, it is easy on the eyes and to use.

Cons:

As a network administrator, I must reset the totalizer at least 2-4 times weekly. This gets super frustrating and makes me consider other options.

I don't like the customer service representative's slow response times and not being able to help find a solution sometimes.

A positive experience with this software. Would not hesitate to implement.

Accurate tracking of hours for staff . Automation of the PTO tracking and requesting time off has been well received and has removed tracking on spreadsheets etc.

Ease of use and ability to have multiple sites use the product. Tracking Accruals for time off has been very useful. Our organizations has multiple sites that had looked for a timekeeping system for years and have been very satisfied with the Vidix product. It is an affordable option that can be offered to the sites we serve without cost to the site.

Cons:

We have had not had concerns with this software.

Reasons for choosing vIDix LABOR

I had used the product in the past and was familiar with it. The cost was less expensive and contained what we needed. Good product, good support and cost effective solution for our organization.

Better not work 12 hour shifts

It can be done from a phone. That is the only thing I like about it

Cons:

There is no longer a ‘remember me’ button so it takes 3 minutes to get clocked in every morning. Also, it rounds your time. Doesn’t give you down to the minute. I would prefer to get paid for every minute I work. When I work over 12 hours the software doesn’t know what to do and it throws off the punches for the remainder of the week
