Time off and salary slip management was good. The options are laid out in a format so that you can easily find them. Upon guidance from the manager, i was able to fill in my timesheet, and put my leaves without much hassle

At times there was a delay in loading the data or the internal site

Workday has worked very reliably for us over many years. We use it globally and it has some of the best features an HRIS can have. They continue to innovate quickly and we have been impressed by their product roadmap.
Cons:
Cost has been going up year after year and their sales reps made it hard to negotiate.

Great Features but Not Always the Easiest to Use

Workday is a powerful system once you know how to use it, and it’s convenient having everything in one place. The learning curve can be frustrating and the navigation isn’t always smooth, but overall it gets the job done and keeps things organized for both employees and managers.

Workday has a ton of helpful features all in one system — payroll, benefits, time tracking, and even performance reviews. I like that you can see pretty much everything about your job in one place, and it’s nice being able to update personal info or check pay stubs without needing to email HR. The mobile app is handy for quick tasks, and it’s great for larger companies that want everything connected.
Cons:
It’s not the most user-friendly platform. Sometimes it takes a lot of clicks to find what you’re looking for, and the layout can feel confusing if you’re new to it. It’s also pretty slow at times, especially when a lot of people are using it. Training or help from HR is usually needed to figure things out at first.

Workday makes it really simple to track my team’s time and absences. Especially now that it has begun to integrate notifications with Microsoft Teams. This feature helps me make sure any time off or timesheet errors are handled in a timely fashion.
Cons:
I do wish Workday would communicate more freely with Microsoft Outlook. Prior to the integration with Microsoft Teams, it was difficult to know when a task was pushed to me for resolution or approval.

It is easy to look for open roles and follow career trajectory as an employee. You can refer candidates for the open roles easily.
Cons:
Workday has a really old UI. It also needs to enhance its features such as keep a calendar chart to see team members going on holiday etc.

A time clock app with some perks

Overall I’ve had a very positive experience with using the app. Clocking in and out is simple enough, and Workday Learning is a good way to learn some new information.

I use Workday mostly for clocking in and out everyday and submitting time sheets. I’ll also use it for Workday Learning, which consists of learning modules relevant to my company. I’d say altogether it’s very straightforward to use.
Cons:
I wish that I could reorganize apps on the Home Screen of the mobile app to better suit what I use most. But other than that I really don’t have any complaints.
