Some pros and cons about HRdownloads

HRdownloads is very useful especially if you need a template or get an idea on how to create something for HR purposes.

Pros:

The available templates that we can use anytime. Those templates save a lot of time and research.

Cons:

Maybe the integration part? We cant integrate the HRdownloads to the EDM tool that we are currently using.

Pros:

The user interface is simple and easy to navigate. I appreciate being able to assign a bundle of training videos to staff instead of individually. I also like the monthly summary email that shows all of the work anniversaries and appreciate the compliance notifications. Overall a very helpful HR system.

Cons:

I have no complaints. They are always working to improve and I have seen the improvements over the years.

Great, user friendly system and quick turnaround on any issues/support. Overall, it’s been a strong experience.

Customer Support, willingness to provide guidance and answer questions promptly. Even though it sometimes required multiple points of contact.

Cons:

There is no detailed plan outlining the steps required for implementation While there are many email communications, there is no central handbook or reference guide. In addition, having many staff members specialised in different areas often results in a high volume of calls.

Good product for the prices but AI impacting it's base business model

Good product, Their standard product though with AI technology is becoming redundant as you can search for many similar policies on Co-pilot, Chat GPT, etc.

The best of Citation Canada

I have been using it for the last 10 years on and off and wouldn't want to not have it. It makes my job as HR a lot easier and keeps me updated with legislation.

The support and helpfulness of the account managers when you hit a brick wall and can't find what you are looking for

Cons:

Navigating through the different pages when looking for something and coming up with every other thing but the document/training course you are actually looking for.

I highly recommend it as a partner at an accounting firm in BC. This is our third year with Ciatation, and I couldn't be happier. Templates, forms, and handbooks were the reason I joined, not realizing their Live HR advice would give me peace of mind and confidence. Thank you, Sharon, Simon, Kim, Terri and Ed. I have spoken with all of them, and they have guided us in our HR needs.

Cons:

The only thing was the name HR Downloads, I love the name Citation better :)

The HR Directors are the main reason we have been a 10+ year customer

Overall, their HR Directors are excellent and informative. They help answer any questions you may have and offer sound advice. Their customer service is also available to answer any account related questions.

I have worked with Citation Canada/HR Downloads for over 10 years. Their friendly and helpful HR Directors offer sound advice, are willing to guide you through processes and support any documentation you require. They are what make Citation Canada an amazing tool.

Cons:

Pricing seems to continue going up. Updates to policies, should be an auto update instead of having to click into each one and download

My Opinion about Citation Canada

It is good product for small to large organizations with diverse teams. They all find it easy to navigate and complete courses

Easy to use, and superb customer service that answers any inquiries or concerns in a matter of minutes. A good tool for organizing and documenting employee courses for important subject matters.

Cons:

Not necessarily a con, but it was confusing for me to navigate between administrator and employee until I eventually figured it out.
