About Masterplan

Masterplan is a cloud-based materials requirement planning (MRP) system designed for small to midsize manufacturers.

As a comprehensive MRP suite, Masterplan offers standard manufacturing applications including financial accounting, manufacturing execution, quality management, product life cycle management, supply chain management, supplier management, customer relationship management (CRM) and business intelligence.

The financial accounting application also features modules for governance, risk and compliance and can handle multiple currencies. The CRM component integrates with Salesforce. When users deploy Masterplan, they are able to customize the system to fit their unique requirements and can use Masterplan’s in-house service for implementation.

Masterplan is available as both an upfront perpetual license fee and as a monthly subscription, based on the size of business. As a cloud-based system, Masterplan works on both Windows and Mac computers. Additionally, it features downloadable apps for iOS and Android devices. Masterplan is available worldwide.

System process not user friendly

They didn't commit their service failure and not accountable to get us into the refund process after we pointed out the ways they frustrated the customer. We've a very unpleasant experience working with them a couples of months as they don't try to dissolve the issue for the sake of the consumer but just rip someone off.

Pros:

The system looks like comprehensive at the first glance which can cover most of the business need.

Cons:

Information conflict between sales personnel & technical team, at the time of implementation we aware that most of our expectation are not meet and require us to invest extra dollars to get proposed solutions to overcome the system infrastructure limitation. Trainer is not well-prepared for the training material and making our life very difficult working through the sandbox environment.

Relatively more appealing in term of functionality and more reasonable initial cost compare with similar product in the market.

Reasons for switching to Masterplan

More cost effective and more responsive customer support, they treated our concern seriously even before we pay them.
