About Kiwi for Gmail

Kiwi is an email management application for Mac and Windows PCs. It enables users to bring together all their Google Workspace applications. Once they are collated, it works as a standalone Google desktop package instead of multiple browser tabs.

This desktop application merges multiple Google accounts and multiple applications together. It has all the capabilities of Gmail, Google Docs, Slides, Sheets, Calendar, and Keep. User accounts are grouped together, and inboxes are color-coded and displayed on a single menu. For managing several inboxes at once, users can set up focus-filtered inboxes.

Kiwi provides a dashboard that combines all email messages, including starred, important, unread, even if different accounts have different filters. Users can access all their Google applications from the Gmail interface. Other features include the do not disturb toggle buttons and instant notification banners.

"Awsome software for all Google products in one place"

It gives me the power to handle all my Gmail in one place. My experience with Kiwi is great. It helps me everything organized. Kiwi makes my life easy in many ways. In beginning can try it for free. It's a very clean and easy interface. Kiwi is a very reliable app. I recommend this to everyone. It's very cost-effective too. It keeps me updated every time. I like this because it saves me time. Kiwi is the best method to interact with all Google services. Awesome software comes with excellent customer support.

Pros:

I like the interface of this software. It's very easy to use and helpful when needed to switch many emails. I can manage all Google programs in one place. The window feature is also great. Kiwi gives me the freedom to access all my emails at the same time without a browser. They added Grammarly and Zoom features in the basic version. It's a good deal for me. It gives me time freedom too. Very cost-effective and manage all Google and Google Workplace accounts easily. Not only manage Google accounts but also gives the freedom to launch Google Slide, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets. I like the performance when switching between all services. Notification and integration are also good. I like the colour theme because with the help of Kiwi can easily identify every account. I can manage many accounts in one app.

Cons:

It's a very fabulous app. I like this software. I wish could be an app for iPad. there is some lag in a startup this is a minor thing. It doesn't come with more than 100 emails per view. Sometimes difficult to find unread emails. Sometimes it freezes and I have to exit and restart this. Fans of dark mode disappoint sometimes.

Pros:

I like that I don't need to open a browser to access my Gmail accounts. I have all my email accounts in the same application. I have access to all the gmail functions.

Cons:

I would like that the software could be an application for my Iphone and Ipad.

Spark doesn't have the Google functions for the Google accounts.

Customer support non existent, too pricey for what you get

Due to the complete lack of customer support AND the multiple tiers of their paid subscription, I believe the price paid for a year's subscription is no longer worth the value received from the product. Too many competitors and methods for replicating what Kiwi for Gmail provides.

Pros:

The product is a self-contained web browser around the Gmail web interface, so if you are familiar with the Gmail user interface, it is easy to use. Having multiple Gmail accounts in one Windows-based application is productive.

Cons:

Customer service is non-existent. I tried multiple times to contact them with a question, both through email and their ZenDesk support system. Never received a reply. Additionally, since first releasing Kiwi for Gmail (most likely under a different owner/management), the product included third-party extensions (Grammarly, for example) in all levels of subscriptions. However, they have since moved that feature to a higher-priced subscription level.

Pros:

All the applications in one place. Clean appearance and ease of use.

Cons:

Some of the pop ups overlap the screen, for example adding a new contact by using the details from an email the pop up for the contacts opens up and hides the email address and footer.

Reasons for switching to Kiwi for Gmail

MS is not compatible with Apple products causing poor performance and problems with data transfer. Some data is lost or I am unable to download and migrate it. O365 account management is a real problem for the small business owner.

Kiwi allows you to be signed into multiple email accounts at once and effortlessly change inboxes with a click of a button. It's immensely powerful in that regard.

Cons:

Although Kiwi is filled with useable features, the lack of plugins / extensions is what I like least.

All of the best of Gmail, with an email app like you're used to.

Kiwi was easy to setup, easy to use, and the options are in simple english and make sense. I would recommend Kiwi to anyone who uses Gmail.

Pros:

I've always used an external email app - Eudora, Lotus Notes, Outlook, etc. When faced with using Gmail, the idea of having to keep remembering to have a browser window open all day was quite frustrating. I searched for some options and came across Kiwi. Kiwi was simple, and provided enough features to give me the standalone feel, but the power of Gmail. I really like that I can manage multiple gmail accounts in one program. Better than having multiple browser tabs open all day!

Cons:

There are a few features that have been in development - such as calendar notifications. Sometimes it takes a bit of time for new features of Gmail to be added to Kiwi, but, usually there is an update made available quickly.

Pros:

It allows you to have all the accounts you need to handle in one place. It's very helpful when your organization and most of your clients move in the GSuite space, so you can make the most out of the apps in the suite. Being able of using a couple of the extensions available is also super helpful in the processes, specially when you need to schedule a ton of emails and schedule a ton of zoom calls.

Cons:

In a sense, it's a glorified web browser for Gmail use only, and if you strip it from the drive and gsuite apps capabilities and the fact the it eats up SO MUCH processing power if you activate the wrong combination of extensions is not nice. Also, in big sur (mac) I can't have more than 2 extensions or more than 2 accounts logged in.

Kiwi puts the "suite" back in G suite

Overall I love the product and have recommended it to several colleagues.

As a long time MS Office user I found the switch to G suite painful when the last company I worked for moved us over in 2017. Fortunately I found Kiwi which actually makes the Google apps work together and feel like a suite. The email interface is also a vast improvement.

Cons:

There are times when it freezes up and I have to exit and restart.

Great way to have GMail on Mac OSX

This does an awesome job of allowing you to use Gmail in a dedicated application on MacOSX instead of just having a webpage open. I like the ability to quickly switch between services (calendar, email, docs, etc)

Cons:

Copy & Paste without formatting doesn't seem to work. I wish calendar would just open the same window instead of a new window every time. Some links should actually open in the web (for instance data studio reports) rather than in their web viewer.

Everything you need to ease your Google Suite woes

Pros:

Kiwi allows me to keep an eye on my multiple Google Suite accounts with ease. It never feels anything less than full-featured, and with nine email accounts currently linked to it, I never feel as though it's slowing down my computer.

Cons:

I can honestly say there isn't anything I dislike about it. It does exactly what it says on the tin and that's exactly what I needed.

Reasons for choosing Kiwi for Gmail

There really wasn't much other that offered this much usability.
