About Gradsgate

Gradsgate is a cloud-based alumni management solution designed primarily for schools and universities. The solution helps institutions to manage alumni engagement and networking. Key features include events management, reporting and analytics, email campaigns, registration management and more.

Gradsgate provides portals for alumni as well as admins. Alumni can customize their alumni hub using different colors, languages and themes. Students and alumni can be notified of events, reunions or upcoming activities. The alumni portal lets graduates view job opportunities posted by employers as well as through the alumni network.

Gradsgate automatically updates the alumni database using connected social networking sites. A Sendgrid integration allows users to send emails to alumni based on graduation year, age or industry.

Gradsgate is available in multiple languages and support is provided via an online helpdesk. Pricing is per month.

Pros:

Amazing from both an admin perspective and user. Had wonderful feedback & incredible service. Every member is verified, so you know you're talking to genuine graduates of the University. - Browse job opportunities - Network with alumni - View career and life tips, photo albums, and events - Sync your social media accounts - Creating Surveys - Get statistics and detailed reports Set up push notifications to your mobile device, so you never miss a potential connection.

Cons:

I can not see who viewed my profile, I think it will be a great feature to add, also we asked for more flexibility in the automated newsletter, Gradsgate promised to update it in their next release.

Good Product - Great Service

From day one Gradsgate understood our Project and had the expertise we need to create a bespoke alumni network. We are a family owned private school and the software is easily adaptable for any size business. The customer service has been first rate, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. This is what has really made Gradsgate stand out against our products in the market.

Pros:

The software is very complete. It has lots of interesting features and is constantly evolving and keeping up with the latest innovations in this sector. It is easy to set up and the people behind Gradsgate couldnt be more helpful, always ready with advice and training. We are just starting out on our Gradsgate adventure but already it has made a huge difference to our ability to manage our alumni.

Cons:

There have been a few difficulties with the app but as soon as we communicated these to Gradsgate they were solved. Also we would like more interaction with the photo galleries, again this is a tool that is in Development.

GradsGate has an excellent and professional service with great follow up. It is user friendly and simple to manage. We love the engagement we’re having with our Ahliyyah&Mutran alumni.

Pros:

The platform is continually improving and the team is looking at ways to help our alumni community thrive.

Cons:

There is no audit trail available which would prove extremely useful. With many members of staff using the system I would definitely prefer to be able to know which user amended which records and when.
