Pros:

Those who sign up to donate items or work an event, do not need to provide person information. Only an email address.

Cons:

The themes are limited. It would be great if they covered more areas of interest.

SignUp is exactly what I needed.

I use SignUp for my students to sign up for tutoring sessions throughout the summer. In the past I would have to deal with each student (or their parent) letting them know what dates/times I had available. With SignUp I can simply set up the days & times I am available and they can sign up on a first come, first serve basis. It makes scheduling so much easier.

Pros:

I especially like the fact that my students &/or their parents can sign up for a tutoring spot and I know that there will be no overlapping of dates & times. Additionally, I appreciate the reminder emails that are sent out to my students a few days prior to their appointment, as well as my weekly overview. Whenever I have had a question or problem with setting up my SignUp I get a very quick response, usually the same day.

Cons:

Primarily, I have no least liked features. Because I only use SignUp for the summer, it takes me a little while to refamiliarize myself with the mechanics of setting up a new SignUp.

Signup.com for Volunteer and Donated Item Management

Overall, I prefer this site to signup genius. I would love to use more of the features available under the paid version of the sulfur, but the cost of those features would not pay itself off for our small organization. The free version works well enough for us.

Pros:

This site is great for creating sign ups for volunteers and donated items. The list are easy to set up on the web version. The sign-up list are archived and can be copied for future use, which is a huge time savings for planning future events! I love that the site automatically send an email three days before an event date to remind people of their commitment. It also provides the ability to mass email anyone on the sign-up list with any additional information about the event or need. I also use the mass email feature to think volunteers and donors at the end of the event. They also have the ability to link several sign-up list under one URL to be shared with the outside world, creating a one stop shop for sign-up list for a given organization.

Cons:

Character spacing limits cause me to be creative when posting the sign-up list description and volunteer/donated item titles. The mobile version of the site is tricky to use, but on your phone, you can choose to view the desktop version for greater functionality.

Thank you so much! You all are amazing. I have been using you guys for a couple years instead of sign up genius because you are so much easier to use. Wasn't thrilled with the ads and the price to get rid of them but responding back within an hour regarding my problem was unbelievable. Worth $99. Thank you!

Cons:

The price to get rid of the ads is a little pricey but the customer service response is worth the money. They are so responsive.

Perfect for Non Profits

This is the second year that we have utilized SignUp.com for our fund raiser gift wrap booth and it saves me the administrator so much time and energy as it is easy to use and easy to create. Our nontechnical members can use it and we are able to have instant, accurate information.

This software was easy to navigate as an administrator in developing the project, and extremely easy to use for our members - including those that have limited computer skills. It easily shows availability, provides reporting and updates immediately.

Cons:

Still trying to get it to function on my cell phone for on the go updates. Would love an app for android.

We have used SignUp.com for the past year to schedule our Parent/Teacher Conferences, Meet the Teacher Nights, etc. and it has worked very well for us. We are in the process of renewing our subscription so that we can continue to use the program for all of our events this year. Thank you for providing a very useful and affordable product.

Cons:

It would be great if you could customize what you need to see when looking at the reserved slots. Just seeing the initials of the person is not very helpful. It would be better if you could see actual names.

Got Conferences?

I have used SignUps for several years for Parent Teacher Conferences. I found it easy to set up time slots and send a link for my parents. The parents were able to easily go on and choose their spot. I also liked that reminders were sent out.

Signups was easy to set up for Parent Teacher Conferences. I liked that you could choose how to send the link to parents after it was set up.

Cons:

Sometimes I got lost trying to go back after I set it up to double check my work. However I would find my way.
