Loving VOME

Per usual with any new system there was a large learning curve but it has been great in streamlining my process and moving everything digitally.

Pros:

How you can store files, create unique forms, and track every step of the onboarding process. You can really set the system up for your unique needs. We have multiple volunteer opportunities each with their own onboarding requirements and vome makes it easy to keep track of where each volunteer is in the process.

Cons:

It can be a little buggy, but this hasn't significantly impacted my ability to function and get things done. If you change the size of the screen it will kick you out of pop up screens, the email is giving me troubles (but currently being worked on), sometimes when you click on something it won't populate, you have to click multiple times. But for the price and the function all of those issues are pretty much not an issue.

Amazing customer service/innovation!

I prioritize customer service when picking any kind of platform like this - and they excel! It feels they really listen to my feedback and prioritize innovation. The platform has been very useful for all the volunteer managers, no matter the technical skill of the manager.

It's really easy for volunteers to sign up. We've had more volunteers finish the process than ever before! We also love the customer support and it seems the team and organization prioritizes innovation - they always seem to be working on a new feature!

Cons:

There are some steps that are convoluted and may add some confusion. But once you get the hang of it then it's really easy. My biggest con is the current lack of a anonymous group feature where I can assign large groups of volunteers to a project without inputting specific data for everyone. BUT they said it's on their pipeline.

Pros:

Our organization as been using VOME for a year. Some things that we love is the customer service support as well as the team as a whole being extremely helpful and fantastic with our needs. We have also enjoyed the updated look and ease of use for the majority of the features.

Cons:

Due to this being a newer product, there are still some features that are getting worked out and updated throughout the year. Our organization in particular is having a difficult time with the accuracy of volunteers schedules and logging their hours as they are not all coming to one location and are spread out in many locations and platforms.

I love how easy it is for volunteers to visualize the shifts that are available and what they have signed up for.

Cons:

That there is not yet a group volunteer component. It has been mentioned to me though that this may be changing soon.

Vome was way more advanced in the areas we needed and set up for what our goal was.

Overall, we are delighted with our experience. This platform has made our jobs much more efficient and helped grow our volunteer program! I would recommend this program if you are looking for a volunteer database!

It is very user-friendly for our volunteers and admin. It has features that make it more engaging for volunteers which really helps our program. I also appreciate the access to Vome staff for training - it really makes it easier to use to implement in our agency!

Cons:

I don't have anything really to note. I know that there are more features coming that we are excited to use in the future.

Great Volunteer Management Software!

Overall, it was a good experience. The team was extremely responsive with getting myself and my team set-up and trained. They also responded very quickly when I emailed in questions.

I really liked that the volunteers could adjust their shifts (add/change/cancel) on their own time. I liked that I could pull a few different reports, depending on what information I needed. I also LOVE the price point of this software. I can downgrade my subscription when I don't need it, but then can upgrade when I get busy again - that's such a great feature!

Cons:

Some of our students signed up while they were in a different time zone, which didn't switch to the current time zone, so it was showing shift times that started at 11:00 pm! I also started using vome pretty close to the event. I should spend more time learning the software to see if I can use it more to my advantage.

Vome makes it EASY for volunteers. New volunteers are able to easily onboard through a sequence that we are able to create. We are able to open up new opportunities easily and quickly!

Cons:

Vome has slightly slower load times when switching pages.

Highly Responsive and Tailored to Our Needs!

This is a fantastic program! The support from both the tech team and our dedicated consultant, who we can book one-on-one sessions with, has been absolutely outstanding. I’ve never felt alone during the transition process—everyone I've spoken to has been incredibly patient, kind, and knowledgeable. If something hasn’t worked for us, they’ve made the necessary changes to ensure the system fits our organization perfectly. We’re so thankful for their support!

We love how user-friendly and modern the system is. The mobile app feature is especially useful, allowing us to access our database on the go with ease!

Cons:

So far, we haven’t encountered anything we don’t like! Like any new system, there are initial growing pains, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes incredibly helpful!

Great Volunteer logging App/Website

Vome has made the volunteer process altogether much more easier for myself as I can keep track of all my volunteers, when they were last here, when they currently are volunteering, and when they would like to come in.

It is easy to use for both volunteers and myself on the admin side. It is also easy to navigate and look up total hours a volunteer has completed over specific time frames and in general.

Cons:

Don't really have anything negative to say about Vome. If I ever encountered any issues, customer support resolved it quickly

My experience with VOME Volunteer has been positive and engaging. What I liked most about the VOME volunteer application process was how smooth and straightforward it was. The platform is user-friendly, and it guided me step-by-step without feeling overwhelming.

Cons:

While my overall experience with VOME Volunteer has been very positive, one thing I found a bit challenging was understanding the full scope of the expectations right away.
