ER Express is a cloud-based patient registration and check-in system intended for healthcare facilities such as EDs and Urgent cares as well as veterinary clinics. ER Express offers a virtual waiting room where patients can wait comfortably online, where they can register through the portal to receive an estimated arrival time. While waiting, clients are kept in the loop via automated SMS messages and emails, two-way texts from staff, and wait time alerts via text or a digital display board in the lobby that shows clients their relative place in line and status updates.

Staff members manage the virtual queue by moving patients from one workflow step to the next, triggering automated alerts. On disposition, a text-based feedback survey can be sent to encourage clients to post their reviews on the facility’s Google listing to improve their online presence and reputation. Staff can also view client feedback as it comes in to address issues, promote patient retention, and run custom reports that give insight into performance and trends.
