About MOSAIQ

MOSAIQ by Elekta is an ONC-ATCB certified electronic medical record (EMR) and practice management system, focused on serving oncology practitioners. It can be deployed both in the cloud and on-premise.

Modules include an EMR, practice management, medical billing, PACS, a patient information management system, treatment and delivery details. MOSAIQ also offers practice management and medical billing individually. It provides knowledge management feature that allows medical practices to collect information from multiple sources for reporting and analysis.

This product integrates with other MOSAIQ products. These include MOSAIQ Data Director, which helps integrate image and data information; Document Management, which helps create electronic charts and generate documents, reports and templates; MOSAIQ Connect, which transfers data between MOSAIQ EMR and cancer registries and MOSAIQ Evaluate, which allows users to view complete patient information, including treatment plan evaluation, approval and promotion on any workstation.

This System is counterintuitive. Be wise, spend your money elsewhere. Even if it's free, go another way.

This system is poorly supported and I will highly encourage my facility to switch to any other EHR on the market rather than spend another dime on this piece of trash.

Pros:
I like that the support team is virtually unreachable, and optimizations never happen. I like that I can call and spend 40 minutes on hold. I LOVE how every time something doesn't work, we get the option to buy another service pack, that still doesn't fix the issue.
Cons:
It is difficult to use. The medical oncology module is complete and utter garbage. It can't and won't to the basics of care. Training for the product is nonexistent. Everyone they send on site, has almost ZERO MO experience and can only tell you what the system is "supposed to do" but it never functions that way.

Mosaiq is an all around functional app that is no frills but does exactly what you need it too. Once you get used to it this program becomes essential for day to day activities
Cons:
The no frills aspects of Mosaiq do make it frustrating to use at time.

What I like most about this software is that is can do so much. The reporting functions make it easy to drill down and get the data we need.
Cons:
What I like least about this software is that it was difficult to learn, and patient pre-payments were difficult to manage.

Cons:
Does not have integrated collections and follow up software. Reports are limited and hard to use and format.

extremely poorly programmed. No end user utility. So cumbersome , to finish one task in the program, it takes 10 clicks . Any simple software has auto save feature and this one does not. Crashes during the notes and does not save your one hour hard work.Terrible program and not intuitive at all.Every single provider using this had the same experience.

it is the worst EMR I have ever used.

I would urge people to avoid this product for medical oncology. I have tried to find the name of someone in the company to alert but only can find vague corporate people who are not connected to the actual produce -- only the sales.
