About Digit

Digit is a cloud-based manufacturing and inventory management platform that helps businesses of all sizes manage purchase orders, automate procurement processes, maintain item histories, track delivery statuses and more.

The solution includes barcode-based tracking and serialized inventory for item traceability. It automates purchasing workflows, allowing users to create purchase orders, receive goods and manage quality control. Digit offers live production job progress visibility and material planning based on real-time inventory data.

It creates bills of materials, generates routes for manufacturing, provides guided picking and packing and manages subassemblies and finished goods. The platform’s sales and fulfillment modules offer order management and automate shipping document generation. Support for Digit is extended via email, chat and phone and pricing is available on request.

          Digit is the most adaptable, user friendly software we have ever used! I was concerned about the headache of converting from our old system but the integrations and customer support from Digit made the transition go so smooth. We are extremely happy.

          Cons:
          The manufacturing side is somewhat limiting. There is a frustrating lack of some features such as lot number generation, label traceability, etc.

          For us, Digit has been invaluable in managing the huge amount of information generated by a business that holds inventory, sells online, manufactures, and manages suppliers simultaneously. Every company has its own challenges and requirements, and Digit proved to be the most comprehensive solution for addressing each of ours. There were no gaps in the information we needed and no key features missing, which made it possible to truly streamline our entire operation. Also the support was fantastic!

          Digit has been instrumental in the setup and management of our workshop inventory and purchasing over the past year. The team has always been helpful and communicative, responding quickly to requests and checking in to ensure everything was running smoothly. Our entire system has become much more streamlined thanks to both the software itself and the brilliant team behind it. It’s intuitive, clear, and packed with clever features that are rarely found in other ERPs.
          Cons:
          The software is very complete and well thought throughout, however the integration with manufacturing systems and customization for any particular workflows is still a little bit at the early stages. I'm sure, however, this is something that will be sorted very soon.

          We have been using Digit for close to a year now. Moving from taped-together spreadsheets to a more responsive, communicative, modern ERP has allowed for strides in productivity we had not expected. The team at Digit is highly responsive, and has been extremely helpful through the onboarding and extended implementation stages. I have nothing but good things to say about the product and team at Digit.
          Cons:
          There are constant updates to digit, which is really a positive, but sometimes I need to double check what the changes are to adjust out current processes. Really this is a issue with our current op processing, not a digit con

          Production and Planning through Digit with Ease

          Digit has been an awesome addition to our daily workflow. We are now able to track production all the way from supply chain through the manufacturing process, and then to when a product ships. No more bouncing back and forth between dozens of spreadsheets! Our operators find digit easy to use and quick to learn. Digit has amazing people behind the brand who offer next level customer support. Our team uses Digit all day, every day, and it's become an extension of our business.

          Procurement planning and ease of use for production operators. Keeps our supply chain smooth with great visibility!
          Cons:
          There is a good amount of raw data entry to create BOM's and items. It is a lot of work but right now there is not a lot of a way to get around it.

          Digit has been a phenomenal company to work with. Their product has been developed with small to mid size manufacturing operations in mind, and was easy to implement, easy to use, but with high all around functionality. From the operations, WMS, inventory planning, SO and PO management, to CRM, and accounting Digit has it all.

          Although newer on the market Digit Ease of use, both manufacturing and distribution management capability, individual customer and supplier specific rules, barcode and scanning WMS capability, and excellent customer support.
          Cons:
          When we signed on Digit was newer, so there were a few bugs to be worked out. But other than that no glaring cons.

          Reasons for switching to Digit

          cieTrade lacked a lot of manufacturing and distribution capability. Had no real CRM, no BOM capability, or individual customer or supplier management capability.

          We are approximately 6 months into our Digit journey, and so far it has been a very smooth transition for our team, who all have positive things to say since we have made the switch over to Digit. The interface is very clean and intuitive, which has made the process of training each employee to use it a simple and straight-forward process. From what I understand, our company uses the software slightly differently than other Digit customers, so we have had quite a few requests for changes/customizations to our company-specific Digit build. Their team has been very on the ball about making themselves available for team calls to address our needs, and has been great at implementing requested changes/customizations to fit our needs.

          The transition from our old inventory management system was very simple, training new employees on Digit has been a straight-forward process, the interface is clean, and customer support is very attentive to requests for changes/customizations to our company-specific Digit build.
          Cons:
          Changes to the UI require a system-wide change, and thus the Digit team has to balance the job of fixing/changing something for one customer to make their experience better, while at the same time not making sure the changes don't make the experience worse for their other customers.

          We’ve been using Digit for about a year and it’s been a game-changer for our operation. We use the software daily and we're always able to rely on it. The software is well-structured and intuitive. It’s reliable and consistent, yet still allows us to tailor it for our business needs. What really stands out is the team behind it. They’re always quick to communicate and genuinely care about helping us succeed. Since putting this system in place, we’ve been able to focus more on growing the business and less on worrying about data integrity or things slipping through the cracks. It’s been a great experience all around.
          Cons:
          Honestly, not much. Any small challenges we’ve run into were quickly handled by their support team. It’s clear they care about continuously improving and supporting their customers.
