    Shopperations keeps me sane in my daily work day! The functionality helps me saving time and while allocating my budget effectively, helps improve my productivity! The customer service team is also amazing. They answer questions quickly and are always willing to teach.
    Cons:
    Limited access to our internal financial trackers to speak to each other for making sure invoices come in but can always be a future opportunity.

    I have used Shopperations with five unique manufacturers and two agencies, all with the same success. I have seen the benefit as a client-side Shopper Marketing Director and from the Agency side as a VP of client service. It is simply a necessity for a modern Shopper Marketing organization. If you are going to climb the mountain you need to eventually leave base camp behind. Managing budgets and projects on floating excel worksheets will always keep you tethered to base camp.     Cons:
    We want even more! As a trusted platform, I find myself stretching Shopperations into other functional areas to gain additional benefits. With some customization we use Shopperations to manage project timelines, including key milestones in a summary report for a single view of status. We house all mission critical supporting documents in Shopperations, plans, contracts, links to creative specs, post promotion analytics. As the team stretches the tool, the Shopperations team is extremely supportive and creative. They provide customized solutions and share best practices across their wide array of clients.

    The system was very intuitive, easy to use and update drop downs. Building reports was also very efficient in the system. It is a system made by Shopper Marketers for Shopper Marketers which helps to cater to a lot of our needs.
    Cons:
    Cost allocation - this is tied to product breakouts. If there was a way to put a lump sum for a tactic and have spend tie to brands based on GSV or RSV KPIs - adding a tab within tactics or high level tab to house post program analytics (impressions, clicks, sales, etc.)

    Shopperations - Customized Budget Management designed for optimal collaboration

    Gaining adoption for the tool has been very positive and the shopperations team provides endless support to ensure the users are well informed on its functionality. It does take time to input all the data, but once the team members start using it more consistently, it will be an extremely useful tool.

    The ability to establish and track budgets in a format that allows users to manage and visualize them across multiple, customized views for different stakeholders is a game changer compared to manual, offline trackers. It also supports consistency in the budget management process across team members for better collaboration, particularly when budgets are managed by multiple groups but feed into the same initiative. I really like that Shopperations is a custom designed tool and is adaptable to our organizations' needs.
    Cons:
    Shopperations does require budgets to be set up a either bottoms-up (by retailer) or top-down (by brand), whereas sometimes budgets are established in combination. While this feature is somewhat limiting, the tool provides multiple views once the budgets are established and recorded, so it is still easily managed.

    Shopperations makes tracking and reporting accurate and easier

    Experience has been great. From the initial training to support and updates, the team at Shopperations has been great. The system saves a lot of time and energy. Prior to Shopperations, each user had their own way of tracking as well as multiple locations for information and tracking. It is now all in one place that multiple people can access.

    Shopperations is very easy to use, it is user friendly. It is very forgiving when changes or updates need to be made. Working about multiple accounts, Shopperations makes it easy to share data and information in a format that all retailers can understand and use. The developers are open to suggestions and have worked closely with use to adapt the system to meet our needs. Don't know how we did it before Shopperations!!
    Cons:
    Some of our internal systems do not "talk" to Shopperations. We are currently working on that and the developers are open and working hard with us to make the integration with our systems work.

    A Shopper Marketing Managers' Dream Come True

    My experience was very positive. Like with any new systems a learning curve may take time. However, the more you are in it and using it for reporting and planning purposes is when the true benefits payoff. No more collecting individual spreadsheets and taking weeks to ensure accuracy. It’s a time savor. Now the team can focus their time and efforts on building strategy vs chasing administrative duties. It should be named the “SMART” tool because that’s what it does...makes you look smart.

Its interface is easy to use for planning, and their team offers great customer service, but I especially enjoy the fact that our actuals (invoices, deductions, and coupon redemptions) integrate and automatically actualize all my tactical plans. Shopperations works well with our internal financial systems and processes and helps simplifies financial reporting for our entire team.

    Considering the massive shift to the WFH model in today's economy, shopperations really helped keep things in check for myself and my team with a fantastic and intuitive UI and good functionality. The budget allocation was the best part for me as I didn't have to worry about going over budget since everything was contained in the software. Overall, it was great to use and I recommend it.

    It seems it's built with a more CPG vendor consumer base over service vendors, but we still used it well
