I've used Salon Maid for 3 years, and I'm very happy with it.

The ability to complete all retail functions - ring up sales, track inventory, apply discounts, manage employee permissions, employee clock-in and out, sell and manages tanning packages and bed control.

Pros:

Not difficult to set up; has all the features needed to: track inventory, ring up sales, do price overrides, create discounts. Has admin setup with the capability to create login accounts for different employees with the ability to choose which functions are allowed with each account.

Cons:

Has a couple of small glitches - on the last day of a tanning package, shows it as expired, when it should be active through end of that day. Took some experimentation to set up amounts and values to work correctly.

Pros:

This software is the best you will ever get for this price . $99 per computer no cloud payments , no monthly fee and FREE SUPPORT . I have have this for over 9 years , its installed on all computers so i can take paperwork with me ... used mostly for POS but all features are good .

We had a hard time splitting services between stylists

Salon Maid is easy to use for anyone.

Overall I have been more than happy using Salon Maid. The system is user friendly. It allows you to add your own personality to it like photos and your business logo.

The support from alexandria computers was buy fare the best i have delt with. Had a problem i just emailed them and they got right back to me. Great product and great support.
