A quick and easy solution for your HR/Employee time management needs

In our case, we have saved a lot of time by avoiding dead time waiting to clock in by enabling Staffjoy in the workstations. Since we pay per hour, calculating payroll is a breeze

Pros:

Staffjoy is an incredibly versatile tool. It allows your workforce to clock in/out without the need of doing a physical queue and waste time waiting for others. You can clock in from your workstation or even your cell phone if you allow it.

Cons:

Without proper use of the tools/reports, people can potentially cheat the system by clocking in remotely. But staffjoy has the tools to monitor this behavior and thus accountability for improper use is on you

Great entry level time tracker for small businesses

My personal experience with it has been great, as an administrator user, I find it very practical and easy to use to keep overall good control of schedules and worked time among 250+ employees for payroll purposes, I would really recommend the open source platform for anyone looking to customize a light time tracking tool for their business.

Pros:

This is an amazing tool you can use for your small to medium size business. The benefits of adopting this base platform allow you to create and assign schedules for not only individuals but also for entire teams and departments. It is a pretty light coded platform and it also has integrations to other tools and platforms for ease of use, and it even has a mobile app for your associates to quickly clock in and out as needed.

Cons:

Although the platform is pretty light and fast, it comes with a cost, and said cost is that the tool is somewhat limited when it comes to functions, as an example, in my organization we find it a little hard to generate reports that accurately represent the data we are looking for, even to the point where we had our in-house developers create an entirely new data schema for them to be able to structure the reports properly, but this is only if you really want to nitpick the full structure of it.

A slow developing tool

So I had high hopes for Staffjoy, my hope was that the tool will be able to solve all of our needs and be functional to use at the same time, is still under development updates are too slow, the tool is not adaptable to particular needs and it lacks functionality for the manager side, is a simple tool design for very small companies if you are over 50 employees on the manager side it becomes a nightmare yo set up and get data or search data

It is a great tool to keep track of the attendance. Since it is an open source program it offers limitless options to our company. It is extremely useful and a great tool to keep track of your working hours. This is a great support when doing payroll.

Cons:

What I like the least is that you will need to have at least a basic knowledge of programming to use every feature.

It's a very user friendly software especially when you have over 200 employees.

We are able to integrate the software to our payroll system which made the bi-weekly process easier especially when we have a lot of employees doing overtime. We also have employees working from other parts of the world and the software is ideal to track their time as well.

Life will never be the same after Staffjoy

I used to punch in with a card. Switched to Staffjoy over a year and a half ago and who would have known life could be so easy. Excellent software especially for remote teams.

Pros:

It's very easy to use and manage. You can create multiple accounts and manage them in an organized and rapid fashion. Built for clocking in and out -- which it does superbly.

Cons:

Throughout the time I've used it, we have encountered many issues and the site has been down more times than we would like. We spent a share of time on fixing the issue and for a tool that just reports clock in-and-out times is more time than what we would like to spend on.
