About Agile Task Board

Agile Task Board is an agile project management solution that helps businesses manage their teams and project tasks on Microsoft SharePoint and Office 365. The board keeps managers up to date on the progress of all their team's or project's tasks, enabling them to see what needs doing and who is doing it. The platform allows supervisors to view each assigned task as a card on the board, thus allowing them to see important information about that task such as its title and the responsible person directly on each card. Additionally, its drag-and-drop functionality allows managers to quickly assign tasks, people, tags and status changes.

Pros:

It provides a visual representation of the whole project. Also, it helps to track the progress of the project. Each member of the team gets a task before each sprint starts. Besides that, it allows optimizing work productivity because it gives us an overview of the average time taken to finish the work by each individual in the team.

Cons:

The idea of this platform is simple. However, sometimes people get confused when they go deep dive into it. Along with it, it is costly.

Pros:

Easy to use, e.g. descriptions, links, dates, collaborators, colour coding, etc. Ability to customise rows and columns. Help organising marketing plan.

Cons:

Not being able to assign each task (bullet point) to an individual, meaning you need to create a project for each task if you want to follow the status (completed, in progress, not started). Not being able to duplicate a project/ task.

Reasons for choosing Agile Task Board

Based on the above con, only marketing department and a few team members use ATB and the rest of the team keeps using Planner.
