We are using it for project and task management

So far very good. It's second summer season we use it. Customer care is very quick and effective + they quite often ask our opinion on the future development ideas. Overall the big picture on what is happening and what not is much easier to understand compared to Excel.

Pros:

It was very easy to implement and is very easy to use on a daily basis. I like the reminders and summaries it sends to different shareholders. Also the Kanban view helps better to understand the progress of different projects and tasks. Very good thing is also the comments and the external communication option.

Cons:

Actually nothing bad to say. Or, lets but it in other words - you can understand that it's meant for real estate management (wordings, functionalities), but we liked the overall logic and learned how to use those functionalities in our business field.

I liked the software appearance and also it was recommended by one friend who uses it for property management.

In some point of time there was already too many projects and small tasks at the same time so it became little bit difficult and also annoying to manage it all manually.

Hausing fulfills our needs

Pros:

Everything is much faster and clearer, compared to Excel. What must be highlighted is the customer support - it's just super, always very fast and specific solutions.

Cons:

The phone view could be little bit better, but as I understood, they are already working on it.

Reasons for switching to Hausing

We have 100+ tenants and eventually it got too confusing to manage it all in Excel. Each month we had to keep an eye that all the formulas were correct, the arrival and departure dates were included correctly in cost sharing etc. Also there were no reminders of the contract deadlines or rental price changes, so a lot of manual work had to be done.

Pros:

The website is very easy to use, with a clean and modern design. Searching and comparing properties was smooth, and I found all the details I needed quickly. The listings feel trustworthy and well-organized.

Cons:

There doesn’t seem to be an option to delete or remove saved listings or account data. It would be great to have more control over personal information and saved items.

Best for work order management

Overall, very useful software for managing work orders. Especially if you have a lot of different devices and tasks, it helps you remember and keep track of them.

Pros:

Good overview of work orders and their processes. Visually it is very easy to understand the status of a job.

Cons:

They don't have an app. There is a mobiile friendly view and it’s nice, but there are no push notifications, that I sometimes miss.

My feedback on Hausing

Good. Hausing got the most ticks in the comparison of: tracking the information related to the rental; managing tenants and partners; cost control; pricing; real-time reporting and statistics; management of administrative work; financial reporting; logical and reasonable valuation.

Our portfolio grew to such extent that it was already difficult to get a good overview of what is happening with excels and emails. Excel is not a working property management software, it's calculator.

Pros:

Everything is very easy and automated just they way we needed. Possible to connect different accounting softwares with one environment.

Cons:

Not found any yet. First they did not have the link to one of our book-keeping software, but they created it very fast

Once everything is set up, all invoices will generate and go out to tenants in seconds. Everything can be done in so little time that I would really recommend it to everyone is real estate rental business.

I like the 3 way communication between client, Property manager and contractor, easy to add docs with drag'n'drop, delegating tasks, overview of all tickets etc.

Cons:

nothing really- there's always room for improvement- for example as most of our tickets are smaller or larger project based, would be good to add project timeline (Gantt chart view) or similar. Kind of what https://app.clickup.com/ has

For us, it was necessary that we use one system for everything related to our tenants (rental agreements, utility cost division, invoicing and task management) and that's exactly what Hausing provides us. It's simple to use, easy to learn and keeps our data up to date in real-time. Before Hausing we were using multiple Excel tables and the data was different in file. It was hard to understand how well our rental business was going and which data was correct. Thanks to Hausing we save time and money and it helps us to be much more efficient.

Cons:

It took some time to understand where everything was and to get all the people using it. Support from Hausing was very good and they helped us with onboarding.
