Cost-effective reporting tool that allows adding multiple data bases

We have a Leaner Management Software that integrates with multiple LOB systems including Microsoft Business Central. We needed a reporting tool/platform that will not only allow us to add multiple data sources but that will also allow our clients to create and customize their own reports without breaking the bank.

Pros:

We are able to easily add multiple databases, create relationships and give our users the ability to create their own reports, dashboards and different types of reporting such as graphs, pie and tabular format

Cons:

There has to be some level of education to the end users to be able to efficiently use the products as you need to really know the tables and fields in the database level. Something which users are not exposed to. Also when you have a database with many tables, it tends to be a little bit slow to load in the admin section.

Highly motivated and qualified professionals with unparalleled experience in all aspects of Reporting Platforms and Services. This company was able to transition us from non-reporting platforms to process improvement offers in the RFID arena with ability to negotiate our clients reporting needs very adeptly. Extremely professional, patient and a true genuine desire to help as I missed several meetings with them and it was all ways met with benevolence. Their commitment to service level support is unbelievably superb. We will stay with this company as our long term solution for RFID/IoT software Reporting provisions.

Improved the productivity of of our clients in the arena of IoT/RFID Reporting Improved knowledge discovery process time and cost effective. Allowed better deterministic decisions quickly without loss of service. Eliminated inaccurate forecasting with our clients regarding RFID/IoT asset tracking reporting

Cons:

No real cost-effective offline solutions as we have clients who use LANs. It's our understanding that while you do offer offline solutions the cost was unbearable.

.Net Report Builder was a great solution for us

Pros:

Integrating with our complex database setup and dynamic schemas was possible due to the open architecture of DotNet Report. Other less flexible solutions would require a lot more customization or would just be impossible to implement. Nice and clean interface for users. Our clients are loving what they can do with these reports! The Dotnet team has been a pleasure to work with. VERY responsive too.

Cons:

Some features could use updates for more functionality. Scheduled emailed reports are pretty limited.

A great solution

What a great system to easily add client faced reports. Quick to integrate and initially setup. Easy to create simple reports. Supports more complex reports.

An awesome developer's companion - straight shooter

I'm really pleased with this product. They offer a great support and are always available to answer our questions. They support research projects and are flexible to negotiate with faculty and researchers.

Easy to set up, great code samples. Easy to integrate API.

Cons:

Online database management works straight with relational databases, what about non SQL.

The end user design mainly. Very easy and intuitive for users to use and learn. It is open source so it can be modified.

Cons:

The implementation is timely and can be confusing. Documentation is not the best but is alright and enough to get started on.
