Privacy: Our #1 Priority
Clipse was built for the large, privacy-conscious enterprise so we built our architecture to be as gentle as possible. Calling only availability statuses like “busy”, “free”, or “tentative”, your sensitive calendar data is never accessed or stored in any way. All users must register with their Google™ or Outlook credentials via SSO, which means there are never any usernames or passwords to remember. Finally, we ask for read-only access to your calendar so we never send, accept, or publish events on your behalf.

Only Your Trusted Partners
The Clipse add on will only display your availability to other users with whom you specifically allow. We call them your partners. If your company authorizes Clipse, then you’ll instantly be able to see your internal colleagues’ availability.

Synchronized Availability

Solid Product with Innovative Features

Very good experience so far. I look forward to growing my base of external Clipse users so we can easily schedule our group meetings.

Pros:

Scheduling meetings with people in other companies is frustrating and time consuming using traditional email communication. Clipse solves this problem with an innovative add-on tool which works with Google and Outlook calendars. The interface is intuitive and easy to install. Clipse works great for internal meetings as well.

Cons:

An extra step is required to get people not using Clipse to join up. You can invite them, but their availability is not displayed unless they are enrolled in Clipse. That said, the benefits are clear and it is easy to sign up.

Pros:

Schedule calls without having to have multiple email conversations to decide on a time. Not giving out schedule details when others are requesting dates.

Cons:

Adoption by partners prevents this from being a universal tool for schedule matching. No other cons with design or security.
