About Epay Manager

Epay Manager Powered by OTR Solutions is a web-based back-office automation and carrier payments and billing platform designed specifically for the transportation industry. Epay helps freight brokers reduce costs and increase efficiencies of their back-office operations with innovative solutions while providing a new level of transparency to carrier, factor, and shipper partners in a real-time invoice management portal.

With Epay’s proactive Audit Proof Invoicing system, the carrier invoice is autogenerated using the broker’s TMS data as the single source of truth. Epay is currently integrated with most leading brokerage TMS platforms such as McLeod, Aljex, TAI, TMW, and more. It is also integrated with onboarding services like RMIS, MyCarrier Packets and Highway.

Once the invoice is created by the broker, the system notifies and solicits documents from the carrier or factor. It also requests the carrier or factor to agree to or dispute the invoice amount. The broker’s back-office team receives an alert when the delivery documents are matched and the invoice is accepted. Excellent review

Very easy to use. Naturally flows along and everything is intuitive. Once you get in it’s easy to follow.

Pros:

Epay has made paying carriers and invoicing our customers so much more efficient than what it used to be. I mostly love the audit logs of all activity on each invoice and the ease of communicating with our carriers through the site.

Cons:

The only thing I would change is the reporting. You can only pull 3 months of data at a time so if you want data for 6 months, 1 year, etc, then you have to pull the same report multiple times for different time periods.

Reasons for switching to Epay Manager

Aljex always had different errors and our customers would frequently say they did not receive our invoices. With Epay, there are no errors and we have an audit log to show when an invoice was sent out. We also have the added bonus of efficiently communicating with carriers.

poor program, if you don't use every day you need to spent time to figure out how to work, and i don't have more to say. even phone number for support that they provided you can not use, you need to know name or extension, when i called I was not able even to leave voice massage.

Amazing group to work with! They deliver what they say they will deliver and is always available to assist with any questions or updates. The actual system is very easy to navigate even for the non techy and we get great reviews from our carriers that use epay!

It was actually a system called HubTran but it was not listed in the drop down above so I chose Microsoft Teams so I could submit this review. Functionality Issues and Paperwork Reviews were painful.

Using Epay took our billing to the next level!

Our overall experience with Epay has been outstanding! Besides the product itself being the best we've ever used, the customer service is the real golden ticket. No matter what we need, Jason and Tim are there to help us quickly and efficiently! We can't say enough about how much we appreciate all the support they give us when we need their help!

Pros:

Switching to Epay from our previous service increased our capacity a hundredfold! Because it does a lot of the work for you, we were able to significantly increase the number of invoices we could process on a daily basis without increasing our staff size. It is user friendly, efficient, and the customer service is second to none!

Cons:

My only con is that we would love for Epay to help us with more of our specialized invoicing (portal or spreadsheet invoicing) as this is becoming a bigger bulk of what we do. I know this is a feature they can employ, but we haven't looked into it much so far. We look forward to doing this soon!

Reasons for switching to Epay Manager

The other products we were using didn't have the efficiency we needed to handle our volume as the company grew. We needed something that could grow with us and give us unlimited capacity, which Epay does.

EPAY USAGE BY SMALL COMPANY

Actually pretty easy and the man in customer service was very helpful when I did call in. He was very patient and kind as I am not that computer literate. I can do what I know how to and that's it!

Epay was critical in our growth

Overall the experience is excellent. Best customer service in the business and we consistently paid our carriers well within terms without having to worry about it. Set it and forget it once you do the front end work. If you are looking to scale a younger brokerage or optimize a larger one, this tool will help out greatly on the accounting side.

Pros:

The functionality of the system is excellent. More importantly, the ease of using the product while being able to invoice a customer and pay an invoice to a carrier was a significant benefit. When we weren't able to hire staff and needed to perform the job function, Epay made this possible for one person to handle everything.

Cons:

Anything we had an issue with was addressed with Epay and a solution was provided. Every time.
