About GCalToolkit

GCalToolkit is an all-in-one desktop tool (Windows, OSX, or Linux) to help users manage, repair, edit, and maintain Google Calendars. Users can load one or several calendars from a Google Calendar account into GCalToolkit to remove duplicates and create, edit, and remove new events.

It enables users to automate repetitive tasks such as adding or removing Google Meets for multiple events, deleting, copying, and moving events between specified dates, changing time zones in bulk, and applying color codes to events. With gcalToolkit, administrators can filter events by text, date, creator, organizer, guest response, event type, or any other custom criteria and export filtered results as CSV.

Users can search and replace text anywhere in the calendar, open events directly in Google Calendar with just a right-click, and shift and copy groups of events for irregular schedules.

Gcal for google calendar managment of bulk tasks

Pros:

amazing access to the underlying google calendar database; can create, duplicate, modify almost every setting of any appointment for google calendar. one of the best features is that if your calendar is already shared, modification in the database does not create notifications to shared guests which can save hundreds of unwanted notifications. also finding and replacing text in any field makes google calendar suddenly extremely useful for keeping coded text in these fields which can then be searched for and/or replaced as required.

Cons:

interface takes some getting used to and it is not completely malleable with respect to finding certain appointments such as by time limits for example, but can certainly hone your view of the found set of appointments very well overall for ongoing manipulation.

Next level support and service

I had a specific edge use case for moving my events between calendars and I wrote to [sensitive content hidden] who incredibly wrote the feature for me and released it in less than a week! I've never experienced anything like that in the world of software. Next level support and service!

Pros:

GCalToolkit enabled me to go back in time and split 15 years of business and personal calendar events out in to two separate calendars. As a result I didn't lose all that history when leaving the company which was really important to me. The tooling is powerful after some testing took me less than 5 hours to move over 9,000 events. By hand this would have taken a decade!

Cons:

I had some visual artifacts when loading the software and would sometimes have to quit and come back in or hover over items to get them to show properly but I don't know if that's because I had a lot of entries or something to do with running XDR software on my machine.

Pros:

I uploaded over 1100 calendar items to the WRONG calendar. I was terrified to download an unknown software off the internet but this worked well. it saved me so much time. It was affordable (only paid 1 month to clean this up versus a lifetime subscription)...and SO FAR no nefarious interaction on my local machine or GCal.

Cons:

So few reviews exist. It was a risk for me to download a local app to my Mac and then hope there was no virus or hacking of my GCal. I downloaded and paid for just this activity. I'm still not sure how to disconnect it from my GCal. I do with that info was easier to find on their knowledge base.

Pros:

I needed to replace thousands of lines of text in Google Calendar descriptions. This software saved me a lot of time and editing work. This software is definitely worth the price, and I would definitely recommend it to other people. I had a few questions about it and the support was fantastic. Fast, efficient, professional, and very pleasant to work with - Five stars all the way!

Cons:

I do not have any concerns or recommendations for improvement.
