An easy way to offer early pay to employees

Overall it is a pretty good way to offer early access to pay for employees. Would like better administrative control for the admin user

Pros:

PayActiv integrated nicely with my payroll from Paychex. They provided early access to earnings for all of my staff. Setup was pretty easy.

Cons:

Administration wasn't the easiest. Most user facing administration (address change, banking changes, password resets, earnings reporting incorrectly) had to be handled by PayActiv which results in many of my staff members being frustrated that I can't help them.

Pros:

I like that instead of borrowing money to get by if needed until next paycheck, it's just deducting it from my check. It's also really good to know that it's there incase something comes up financially

Cons:

I don't like that I have to remember to clock in and out on the app because I do end up forgetting and then you can't submit your work hours which have to be approved by the employer. I would have thought being employer sponsored that employees time carda should automatically be updated and shared with payactive since it is available for all employees

Stay far away.

Horrible. Completely and utterly awful. Would recommend a payday lending company over this company.

Pros:

Absolutely nothing. Zero support from the employee or employer side. This feature was added to our Payroll Software and it has been a complete nightmare. Nonresponsive to employees and employer alike.

Cons:

Every single employee that tried PayActiv was overcharged multiple times. Weeks of not getting paid. PayActiv still owes employees money. As the employer we have had to reimburse them to avoid evictions, overdrafts, etc. PayActiv has been contacted numerous times with no resolution. They jsut keep telling us the money should be back in employee's accounts "tomorrow." They've been saying this for weeks.

Nothing, the service isnt what you're told when signing up.

Cons:

Everything , from the top down. No good experience with this pathetic company. Will not manually update hours. Ive gone a week and offer to provide the hours and etc. Nope, nothing.
